I mentally screamed to myself while running to school stumbling every now and then. I lived far from my school, going by car takes 30 minutes without any traffic but thanks to me living in tokyo, if i ever wake up late i have to walk and that takes 1hr and 15 minutes because of the crowds. If there were none i'd probably be able to get to school in 40 minutes. Such a pain..
I continued running as fast as i could while desperately chewing on some toast hoping not to choke.. But then my toast fell... I've never felt more pain in my self than that very moment.

'MY TOAST!!' i thought with tears in my eyes while looking at it.
'NO TIME! IF I GO FOR THE TOAST ILL BE DEAD WHEN I FACE TOMIOKA-SENSEI' My lip quivered just at the though of leaving his toast behind but he'd rather leave it than die.
I ran with my eyes closed as tight as i could, trying not to cry over TOAST.
When i opened my eyes they widened as i was about to run into a baby in a stroller. If it wasn't for my lighting fast reflexes (Does that count as a pun?) that child would probably be dead.. I jumped as high as i can over the baby and it's mother surprising them both as i land on the floor next to them and kept running.
I started laughing hard at their reaction
"I feel like i just committed a crime" I said bursting out laughing. All of a sudden i felt the nerve to look to my left my eyes widened at the sight, Honestly i though i was gonna die, but at the same time it was like the world was in slow motion.
He and his green 'n' black board separated in squares. His shoes and jacket matched the board. He wore Hanafuda earrings and he had a strange red birthmark on his forehead that matched with his crimson red eyes...

His eyes widened as it seemed like his world too entered slow-mo his eyes looked down making eye contact with me. His crimson eyes widened even more realising that i too was in this slow-mo phase. Before either one of us could say anything, Time went back to normal. We continued what we were doing as if we never saw each other.
Tanjiro's POV
'That kid....'
'It seemed as though we were both in that slow-mo phase.....'
'I'll look into it later but right now i'm late for school..'
I continued to use my left foot to push the skate board down the calm streets trying not to think about the incident.
'Damn this kid... why can't i get him out of my head?..' I thought as i saw his expression again while thinking.

I slapped my self hard making me stop thinking about him and focas on school.
'First day and I'm already late.. Just fantastic' While skateboarding to school i day dreamed a lot on the way there though i kept going a full speed. I kept on thinking about stuff like, Will i even make friends? What teachers will there be? How should i introduce myself? Will they think i'm wear for having a red mark on my forehead? . Just thinking about negative things related to the subject of school sent shivers down my spine. I was about to arrive at the school while checking my watch, I jump off my board, picking it up while still in the air in a slick motion.
'7:05... Only 5 minutes late' I sighed while running then coming to a sudden stop. I look at the school with slightly widened eyes looking at the large white building along with the famous cherry blossom trees. I started walking towards the doors, though i stopped when i heard panting behind me. Before i could even turn around fully something had ran into me. I groan sitting up using my left arm for support. I rubbed my head lightly because i had hit it on the ground during the fall. I also heard a grown from in front of me i opened my eyes slightly, before they completely widened at the position me and then same i guy i met earlier were in..
Zenitsu POV
My legs were on fire, they felt as if they were gonna fall off i began to get slower as i stumbled towards the doors with my eyes closed but then i bumped into someone. When i opened my eyes. my body was in between their legs and our faces were rather close. Before i could even react he said something.
"Would you mind getting off?" He said with a small chuckle.
"o-oh! yeah sure.. sorry" I said quietly while standing up as he did the same.
'Why do i feel disappointed about this?...' I though to myself
"Hey.."
"Hey.."
We both looked at each other and laughed because we both said the same thing at the same time.
"How about this we say what we were going to at the same time, it sounds like a good plan to me." he said with a bright smile. I stared at him for a few seconds then replied.
"Yeah sure" i replied with a smile aswell
"Okay."
He began to count down.
