The Illegal Business Dealing

1 Year Later

It had been a year since the drug selling had begun and it had been quite successful. Adrian and Thomas had already earned $10, 000 and at that rate, business was booming. If they continued, they could've earned a lot more if it had not been for one thing: Grace.

"Professor I need to tell you something really important privately.", Adrian whispered urgently to his science professor at the end of his third class.

"What could be so important as to require my attention? You know I am a busy man.", exclaimed the professor.

"Professor please. I've learned of an illegal matter happening in the school. I must tell you about it as soon as possible."

"Alright, come with me.", the professor sighed and led Adrian to his office to hear about the so-called 'illegal matter'. "Okay, what is it that you wanted to tell me? And make it quick; I have another class starting in 10 minutes and I need to prepare."

Adrian proceeded to tell the only person he could trust would listen to him everything about the drug dealing business and that Thomas had started it. He then continued to tell him strictly that he had no part in it and he had just come to learn from it. He also lied that Thomas had blackmailed him saying that if he told anyone, he would tell everyone that Adrian had also contributed to the cause.

"This is a serious matter indeed. I will go to the professor but you must know Adrian. I trust you which is the only reason why I am not asking for proof but be warned; the principal will most likely ask for some. Do not let me down."

"Never professor. I have my proof.", said Adrian.

Adrian had planned all this about three months beforehand and this was just because he knew Thomas had feelings for Grace since childhood. But what had changed between Thomas and Adrian was the fact that Adrian had also fallen in love with Grace over time and so he began plotting. He had stolen the money the night before he told the professor, all $10, 000. This way, over time he could charm Grace and eventually marry her and also get the profits of his illegal business. This was why Thomas had kidnapped Adrian's daughter; to get those $10, 000 back using a piece of Grace to really test his former best friend who had betrayed him for love.
