"That's it!" Kai slammed his fist down on his desk. "You aren't my friend anymore!"

"YEAH, WELL, YOU AREN'T MY FRIEND EITHER!" Jay shouted back.

"What's going on?" Cole asked, craning his neck around Nya.

They were all sitting in one of the social rooms. Perched on various bean bags, pillows, and poofs. Master Wu thought it would be a good exercise to group the students and talk about simple things like their favourite food, favourite colour, etc. Unfortunately, he underestimated how his students could dramatically turn everything into a midlife crisis.

Jay crossed his arms. "Kai likes chocolate ice cream over vanilla. I officially disown him as a friend!"

"You can't do that because I already disowned you." Kai made a face at him.

"THAT'S NOT HOW IT WORKS!"

"I think that's enough for today students." Master Wu announced, stepping in before things got violent.

There was an awkward silence as the non-psychopathic students stared at the two boys sulking pointedly at each other.

"I like chocolate ice cream," Cole said softly.

"Ugh. I'm friends with barbarians." Jay grumbled, getting to his feet.

Master Wu raised an eyebrow but decided not to say anything as he grabbed his walking staff. "Students," he spoke loudly, getting their attention. "Do you have anything planned for the weekend?"

They all stared at him. "You were joining, right?" Kai said dryly. "Our schedule is literally just doing video game marathons."

"Please, please, give us something to do!" Nya begged dramatically, falling to her knees. Kai nudged her with his hip, hitting her in the head. She retaliated by socking him in the stomach.

"OOF." Kai grunted.

"What do you need us to do, Master?" Zane asked politely.

Master Wu pressed his lips together. "Well..." he drew out slowly as his fingers organized his papers. "I was hoping you would go to Ninjago City and do a few errands for me."

"Ninjago City?" Cole repeated. "That's, like, forty-five minutes away!"

"Cole's big butt's going to go numb." Jay snickered, making sure all his notes stayed in his binder as he stuffed it in his backpack.

"And it won't while you're doing your electronic game nights?" Wu retorted with a challenging look.

Kai sighed. "Fine. We can at least get some better food. No offence but that all-spice chicken was all-but-good, Cole."

"Nah, the chicken was fine. It was just because Cole made it." Jay shrugged.

Cole scowled but brightened quickly into a smile. "Maybe we can get some cake!" His hands rubbed together excitedly.

"Yes, you can do all of that." Master Wu couldn't help but chuckle. The laugh faded away into hesitation as he thought about what to say next. "But there's...one other thing I need you to pick up."

"What's that?" Jay questioned distractedly as his gaze followed Nya across the room.

"I'll need you to pick up my nephew, Lloyd Garmadon."
