"Jane, you manky idiot. Get up, we are going to miss our flight." I grumbled something groggily, my head throbbing from the alcohol last night. Truth be told, I don't remember much from the past evening. What I do remember is it was a fun last dance in Rio de Janeiro.

It was a vacation for Eithne, Aisling, and me; we three grew up together. We were sisters since the early ages, and we just had to do everything together: same hobbies, customs, and eventually lifestyles.

"Jane don't make me repeat myself again or so help me."

"Yeah yeah, I gotcha."

I slowly tossed the blankets off my body and let out a long stretch. The sun was beaming through the curtains, and out of the corner of my eyes, I could see Aisling pulling her hair into a long ponytail. She gave me a cheeky glare before ushering for me to hurry up.

I rolled my eyes and stood up, stretching my long legs and taking in the tropical smell of flowers and fruit.

"Is Eithne out back having a smoke?"

"I don't know, why dontcha go have a look yerself?"

"I will you, gowl." My breath is quiet as I turn towards the window and see Eithne outside on the porch taking a few puffs of her cigarette. She knows that'll kill her if she continues, but, no, don't listen to your friends that so happen to be doctors.

"Good morning my lovely sham," I wrap my arms around her and she lets out a chuckle before tossing me backward.

"Finally awake, I see. Bout time, you got knackered yesterday."

"I don't remember much, truth be told. How about you put that thing out before I do it for you." I go to swat her cigarette away, but she just holds it over her head, far out of my five foot one reach.

"Sorry, shorty, you aren't putting this one out."

"I am not short! I am just a little bit under the average." Eithne let out a bustling laugh before bringing her cigarette down and taking in another breath; I swear she won't be able to breathe in a few years. It shouldn't be any of my business, but it is; Eithne is like a sister to me.

"A little bit? You're a joke, Jane. How about you go get packed and stop worrying bout' me. I got a ciggy to finish."

I let out a huff and flip her off. She wouldn't listen to me, and I knew she never would.

I walk back into the room and take in a breath of fresh air. My hand reaches for a stray water bottle on one of the desks and take in a long gulp; oh god that tastes amazing.

I put the bottle down and look towards Aisling,

"How long do we have before we need to head to the airport? Did you call the taxi?"

"Yes, Miss Worrylot I called the taxi service, and probably, I don't know twenty minutes."

I can only let out a betrayed gasp before I run up to Aisline and give her a few swats on the arm.

"You expect me to get packed, showered, and dressed in twenty minutes? Are you dense?"

"Well, it's nineteen now."
