Lost In The Way of Water (Aonung x OC)

It was dark and the cold made my body numb. I was getting tired of staying above the water for so long I started sinking and passed out. I felt myself on top of something as the sun came up but again passed out. After a while I could hear what I thought were whaling sounds and then Navi. All I remembered was struggling to stay afloat in the cold waters that surrounded me. No memories of my past before that or what had happened. Just water very cold water.

"What are we going to do with her?" I heard someone ask

"Is she dead?" another asked

"Ronals comming"

"I never seen a Navi like that"

"Don't get to close she might be dangerous"

"She's just a child"

"She looks strange"

"It's breathing"

I woke up in an unfamiliar place that was bright with water all around. I could see Navi children swimming and laughing in the water. There was now fabric wrapped around my chest and hips. I tried getting up but fell knocking down something along the way which alerted a nearby Navi.

"Are you alright?" she asked

I nodded before looking up at her. She had a shell hanging on her forehead and had the most beautiful hair I've ever seen and she was green?

"I never seen a Navi like her before" she spoke to a male navi while examining me

"Where did you come from?" he asked "What is your name?"

I shook my head I didn't know where I came from or how I got here or who I was.

"Hm, she must be tired we should let her rest" the male Navi suggested

I was a bit tired and fell asleep while they talked.
When I woke up it was already dusk, there was a little fire in close to the middle of the room. I layed back down and starred out an opening watching the sky get darker and darker. I herd foot steps and looked over to see the two Navi again.

I sat up and watched as she walked twords me.

"I see that you are awake, will you speak now?" she asked

I nodded

"Where did you come from?" she asked

"I don't know, all I remember was struggling to stay afloat in the water and I woke up here" I replied

She looked at the other Navi and he gave a look

"that's all you remember?" the other Navi asked

I nodded

"What about your name?" he asked

"I don't remember my name or if I have a name" I replied

They took a few steps back and quietly talked to each other. I was able to make out some of the conversation

"She's too weak, she might not live" She says

"If she does she can stay with us" he says

"She won't be strong in the water, she has no use here," the female Navi says

"She will learn our ways" he says

After a while of talking they left. I wasn't sure how long I stayed up but again I fell asleep.

I woke up to the hearing Navi children playing in the water. I got up still a bit weak but strong enough to walk. I walked out and sat on the edge of the path way. The sun was close to setting at this time. I noticed every Navi here was a green ish blue color, their tails were bigger, their arms were wider with hands that point like arrows. Unlike me I was a light purple color, my tail was smaller and so were my arms.

I spotted both the Navi from last night and walked to them. I could feel every Navi's eyes on me as I do so. I kept my head down on the sand untill I was close enough to the two. They made eye contact with me and I gave a slight nod.

"This young Navi was brought to us by our tulkun brothers and sisters, she will be like baby and learn our ways she will be called Tselenaum...." the male navi continued for a bit

[Her name is pronounced Seh-neh-lee-aum or selenium like the element]

"Tsireya where's Aonung?" the male navi asked

"He's with Rotxo" she replied

"This is my daughter Tsireya" he guided me to her

I gave her a slight nod and smiled. She was about my height but taller.

"Tsireya you and Aonung will also teach Tselenaum you our ways if the Metkayian once she is well enough. For now she will observe the village people"

"I'll show you around the village" she took my hand

I followed her around the village and observed the Metkayina people. I learned that the two navi who took care of me were Ronal and Tonowari the chief. This place is interesting and beautiful.

"If it's ok to ask what kind of Navi are you?" she asked

"Sorry I don't remember anything about myself, only that I was in the water and ended up here" I replied

"You don't remember your family or your home?" she asked

I nodded"Not even my name and well I'll just make new memories here in Awa'atul"

"Then I'll have to be your first friend, I'm Tsireya" she greeted

"I'm Tselenaum" I greeted back with a smile "It's a pleasure being your friend"
