"I'm telling you, y/n. san likes you" your co-worker said as you shook your head and chuckled lightly.

right now, both of you were at the kitchen, washing the dishes. you told her about what happened yesterday and the incident that happened between san and jaehyun.

and that's her reaction.

"no, yejin. why would he?" you asked her and yejin shook her head at you.

"can't you see the way he looks and talks to you? besides, why would he got so angry over you keep on saying jaehyun's name?  try thinking about it"

"that's nonsense" you frowned at her.

*ding dong*

the bell rang indicating that there's customers.

"we'll continue this later" yejin said as she wiped her wet hands and went to the counter.

but then, she came back, all smiling and giggling.

"why?" you asked her, confused.

"your prince charming came"

you hit her arm as you went to meet san.

"hi, cupcake" san greeted you, waving his hand lightly as you waved back.

"what brings you here?" you asked him, since he rarely come to your workplace unless it's something important.

"I just want to tell you that I might come home late tonight" he stated and you nodded.

"late-night shift?"

you asked him but he shook his head.

"blind date"

"oh... well, good luck then. by the way, you could have just call me. no need to come here" you told him.

"I know but... nevermind. I have to go now. come home right after you finish work"

with that, he walked out of the cafe as you sighed.

"yejin" you called out her name and she hummed in response.

"why do I feel uneasy about the blind date?"

yejin turned her head towards your direction.

"what do you mean?"

"I don't know. I just had this feeling like... like I don't want him to go to the blind date. I don't want him to see any other girl besides me" you sighed, looking down to the ground.

after hearing your words, yejin clapped her hands happily and it made you confused.

"what- why are you clapping?" you asked her.

"oh my god, girl. you like him too, y/n! you like san! choi san! yeah!" she exclaimed happily as you frowned, not sure of your feeling.

"really?"

"yeah, y/n! that feeling you had, it was the jealousy. you hate it when he sees another girl that's not you, right? that's what we call jealousy, y/n. now, you understand, right? so, go pack your things and go home. I'll take care of the cafe. don't worry" she stated, pushing you to the staff room.

you whined but still obey her words anyway, not wanting to hear her nagging at you.

"now, go home and stop him from going to the blind date" she adviced you as you looked at her before nodding briefly.

"san?" you called out his name after taking off your shoes.

you heard him from the kitchen and you quickly went there.

there he was, washing his plate with his back facing you.

you back-hugged him, making him flinched a little but soon relaxed after knowing that it was you.

"you're home early" he said, turning off the tap and went to dried his hands with you still back-hugging him.

"why, cupcake? is something bothering you?" he faced you and you shook your head.

"you look a little upset" he caressed your cheek as you looked up to him.

"d-don't go" you mumbled.

"what?"

"don't go to the blind date" you said as you played with the hem of his shirt.

san chuckled lightly as he hugged you, placing his chin on your head.

"is my cupcake jealous? that's why she doesn't want me to go to the blind date?"

you kept your mouth shut as you stared into his eyes.

"just... don't go"

he smiled softly at you, kissing your forehead before saying,

"okay, I won't go"

you looked up to him as you hugged him tighter.

"go shower, cupcake. you stink" he jokingly said, letting go of you as you hit his arm, making him groaned.

you went to take a shower while san made his way into his room.

after making sure that you have gotten into the bathroom, he quickly opened the group chat.

he took a deep breath before making his way towards your room. patting the bed, he sat on them while waiting for you to finish.

you walked to your room while your hands were drying your hair and you met san who was sitting on your bed.

he scratched the back of his neck and stood up.

"are you free tomorrow?"

you raised your eyebrow and nodded before answering.

"yeah. I thought I already told you?"

"just in case maybe you need to go somewhere else"

you shook your head before mouthing a 'nope' to him.

san tried to stay calm and nodded before dashing to his room, quickly locking it after.

he screamed out a 'yes' but not loud enough for you to hear and went to his closet to find a suitable outfit for tomorrow.

"I can't wait for tomorrow. oh my, I hope she will accept me"
