New Group

Jennie's POV

We were now heading to were the Golden Disc Award will be held

"Jen, can you help me with my tie?"Jhope oppa asked me wile holding his tie

I was seated in between him and Jungkook

"sure oppa" I held him tie his necktie

"Namjoon pass me that bottle" Jin oppa said

"Here hyung" everyone was in a rush. The event was about to start and here we are, still stuck in the traffic

"Jen, can you help Jungkook with his hair?" Hyun unnie asked me while looking at her phone

I looked at Jungkook who was struggling with his hair

"Let me help you, Kook" I grabbed the comb from my bag

Jungkook faced me as I combed his hair. My heart was beating fast when I noticed that he was staring at me

"Stop staring, Jeon" he giggled

"You have pretty eyes, noona" he blurted out making me stop

"Shut up, Jeon" I continued fixing his hair

We arrived at the event

"Go go go" Hyun unnie quickly pushed them out of the car

They walked down the red carpet as camera flashed from everywhere

Me and Hyun unnie quickly ran towards the back door. We went inside and headed towards the dressing room assigned to the boys

We set up as the event started

"Jen, bring these towels to the backstage and wait for the boys"

I nodded and picked up 7 towels. I also grabbed 2 water bottles just in case someone was thirsty

On my way there, I saw Lisa talking to someone

"LALISA" I called out her name making her look at my direction. She smiled and talked to that person then walked towards me afterwards

"Hey Unnie" she tried to hug me but stopped when she saw that I was carrying some stuff, "I was just about to look for you" she grabbed the bottles from my hand and helped me carry it

"You're early" I said to her

She nodded, "Well, Rosé had to practice her dance for the last time and since I'm her choreographer, I had to show up"

We arrived at the backstage

"Jisoo unnie looks really pretty" I nodded my head in agreement as we both looked at the monitor. Jisoo was one of the host for the event

The event ended. The boys won 4 awards and Rosé won 2. I was very proud of them

A new group was also introduced during the event. They were pretty good

Lisa and I clapped our hands when we saw the boys and Rosé walked to the backstage together

"Congratulations you guys" I hugged Rosé

"Thank you Unnie" she hugged back and Lisa joined in

We were all talking when the new group walked by us

Jin oppa elbowed Jungkook with a teasing look on his face

When the group noticed us, they stopped in front of us and quickly bowed

"Congratulations sunbaenims" the tallest one said

"Thank you. Keri right?" Jhope oppa smiled at them

"Yes yes" she said, "This is Hana, Rin and Ruby" she pointed at each girls

I noticed that Jungkook was too quiet. I looked at him and noticed that he was staring at the girl with long wavy hair

I felt hurt from the way he was looking at her

Why was he staring at her?

"We have to go, Namjoon sunbaenim" they bowed once more and continued walking

"Jungkook, can't you be more obvious?" Jin oppa laughed hard

"Huh?" Jungkook looked at him

"You like that Ruby girl, riiight?" Jimin oppa teased him making the other tease him too except for Suga oppa

Jungkook blushed hard and looked down

I was outside the balcony while everyone was inside

We all decided to just celebrate at the boys apartment to avoid the media

I looked at the moon while sipping from my cup

"Hey Jen, what are you doing here?"

I looked back to see Suga oppa, "Oh just wanted to get some fresh air" I smiled at him

"It's cold out here" he took of his coat and put it on my shoulder

"Thank you oppa" we both looked at the moon

"You like Kook, don't you?" he suddenly asked

I was caught off guard

"Huh?" I looked at him

"It's very obvious, you know" he chuckled, "Well, for me it is" he took a sip from his cup

"Is it really?" I sighed

"I do like him..." I paused, "...but I'd rather not"

He looked at me confused, "Why? Is it because we're idols?"
