Ruby's POV

"A princess shouldn't act like that"

"Sit straight!"

"Don't be such a child"

"Why couldn't you act like your sister?!"

I quickly arranged my clothes inside my suitcase, carefully not to make any noise.

It was 1 in the morning

I just want to get out of here, I wanna leave this place. I can't take it anymore.

I wanna be free

As I was busy packing, I heard a soft knock coming from my door. I looked back to see my brother, Xiu.

"Are you ready?" he walked towards me

I nodded my head and closed my bag

He sighed, "I'm gonna miss you" he hugged me tight. I hugged him back and cried

"I'm gonna miss you too" he lifted my chin

"Be careful there, okay? Call me always" he kissed the top of my head

"You too" I didn't want to leave them behind, "Take care of father" he nodded his head

"Don't worry about him. I'll make sure his alright" then we heard a knock and the maid peaked in

"M'lady, the car is here" we quickly got out quietly not wanting to make any sound 

We walked down the long staircase and headed to the car waiting for me

When we got to where the car is, Xiu looked at me sadly, "I can't stop you from leaving, can't I?" he smiled sadly

"I'm sorry" I looked down

"It's okay. As long as you're happy, your big brother will support you" he pat my head like he always does

I looked at my brother and hugged him for the last time, "I love you Xiu"

"I love you too Ruby" I got in the car and it quickly drove off the palace

I'm finally free

As soon as we arrived at the airport, I quickly got on the plane, gladly, no one noticed me

I got on the seat and soon enough the plane flew off
