The next couple of days passed quickly, and as the final bell rung for today, everybody started packing their bags and Marinette was the first one out the door. She had a doctor's appointment to get to. There was only so much Haneen could do for her, and her father wouldn't leave her alone about the chemical burn. Marinette reached the bottom of the stairs in front of the school. Suddenly she was pulled aside by the arm. "Fu-" her mouth was covered as she yelled, why did it have to be the injured arm.

Marinette struggled against her attacker "Marinette relax, it's me" the girl's eyes widened in surprise,  "Kagami?" All the tension left her shoulders as she turned to face her friend, said girl gave a nod and Marinette noted that she'd have to talk to her  friend about Do's and Dont's when it comes to talking with people.

"Can you let go of my arm?" Kagami glanced  down at it quickly before releasing it. "I have something important to tell you"  Marinette nodded and gestured for the girl to go on. Looking around and making sure no one was watching, Kagami started talking  and at her words Marinette froze  "Yesterday, during patrol I saw Nightwing"

"Nightwing? Are you sure?"

What would he be doing here? Why would he be here? If he's here then that means the rest are here too. What if he finds out I'm their daughter-

"Yes, I'm absolutely sure" a frown makes it's way onto Marinette's face, this is bad "Alright, thank you for the information Kagami" Kagami gave a nod. She seemed like she had more to say, but was hesitaing "Spit it out" Kagami looked up in surprise "Nothing! It's nothing" Kagami says a bit too fast, with her eyes landing everywhere except Marinette's own. The girl sighed "Alright, if you say so, anyway I need to get going" Kagami nodded stiffly as she stood awkwardly "Of course, see you later, Marinette" the girl said her own goodbyes and left.

Now she would have to deal with calling a meeting for the new information she'd received, Marinette groaned at the thought. She'll do that after she goes to the doctor. At least then she'd have time to figure out what to say to the miracle team.

"So you should be careful when you use this hand, okay Miss?" Marinette nodded at the doctor's words, and he handed her a prescription for the burn cream she'd have to use "Thank you" the doctor gave a kind smile and directed her to the hospital's pharmacy, he looked so happy to help her so she stayed silent and listened even is she knew the way already.

All the same she thanked him and left.

Marinette made her way to the pharmacy where she was met by a short old woman with her gray hair in a bun.  That was Laura, at this point Marinette had been to the hospital enough times that some of the staff knew her. The woman  shook her head in what seemed to be disappointment  when she saw her and muttered something about kids these days.

"Hey Miss Laura, I just need to get this" Marinette smiled sheepishly, Laura rolled her eyes but took the prescription and read it before  handing it to a woman beside her. "So a burn cream, what happened this time?"

"I'm ninety-nine precent sure that Lila poured chemicals on my arm"

"What!?"

"It's nothing, really"

"Only you would say such a thing"

Marinette shrugged.

Laura just shook her head at the girl, she handed Marinette the burn cream and Marinette  payed  for it. "Bye Miss Laura" Marinette said as she left "Stay safe kid" the girl nodded but knew that was practically impossible for her  to do.
