Disappointing Flight
______________________

Cracking the ends of three fingers as an impatient sigh escape passes through a pair of lips. Looking at her phone for the fifth time in the past few minutes to check the time. The airport was almost emptied out, less people waited or walked by since it was four in the morning.

The girl heard Airport announcements repeated every half an hour, which she heard twelve times already. Sitting uncomfortably with a neck brace, making it hard for her to look around. Gritting her teeth in frustration, checking her phone one more time. Because one thing about her is that she loathes, tardiness. It annoyed her that people didn't follow the time set out. "Need a vatch. . ." she said to herself, tapping her knee thinking deeply if the watch was a necessity.

"Sorry, there was a line." Isamiona didn't even bat a glance at the person in front of her, "Miss Rosemary, is everything alright? Are you hurt?" a guy placed a cup of coffee on the armchair before seating himself besides to her, shaking her neck slightly. Giving harsh glares at people who were staring at her as they walked by quickly, Eun-woo looked at where she was looking. Watching her take off the neck brace, placing it in on top of the suitcase. He was close friends with one of her brothers and who accompanied her back in Cape town, Eun-woo tried his best to start a conversation with Isamiona but she was tough to break the ice.

The girl was way different to what her brothers described her as:

An over friendly and bubbly person. Who is a social butterfly, who loves talking and always smiling.

But the person besides him was the exact opposite to a social butterfly, from what he collected in the few months he has been with her. Isamiona is a complex person: impulsive, blunt, seems harsh, zero filter and forever serious. Her presence brings a tense atmosphere, intimidating people around her with her icy glares. "I got off the phone with your brothers, they're coming from Seoul Airport."

"Dhank you, Mister Yeon."

"You're welcome, please call me by first name." taking a tiny sip from her coffee ignoring him, Eun-woo shrugged and browsed through his own phone. Taking a few glances at Isamiona a few times, who wore a dark grey scarf around her head into a bun with another black scarf over it. A thin black ribbon tied around her neck, her skin which was like a nice, warm cappuccino tone. But a few cuts and bruises on her face with resting her left arm in a sling, to what he had first thought of her as a dark skin girl with wild bushy hair, "Aspréta le na, seta tros nea, I'll valk home myself." (If they come later now, I swear) she mumbled to herself in an unknown language, that was the first sentence she spoke.

Though it was not directed at him, he was glad she was talking. "Excuse me, what language was that?" Eun-woo tried to let her speak again, Isamiona looked at him knowing his intentions. "Malagar," she said fixing her kedaat, curiosity hits him turning to her. "Malagar? What type of language is that?"

"Not many know of dhis language, is descendant from Ancient Egyptian language." nodding while taking a bit of information, ending the short conversation there. Eun-woo's phone went off, a notification from one of the brothers telling him they arrived at the airport. "I guess your brothers are here-"

"Boonaë."
(Brothers)

"Taka jnera Amestia neera, sorry for being late."(May our welcome pleases little sister) two guys appeared, Eun-woo saw very little resemblance between the two brothers and Isamiona. Basically all three almost look nothing like siblings. Though they all have the famous odd, coloured hazel eyes and the formal-causal fashion trend. But the only difference was her brothers looked more Korean with their narrowed eyes, while Isamiona eyes are siren shaped ones with more Middle Eastern facial features.

Eun-woo studied both brothers' features, zoning out on their conversation. The older one, Elijah looked clean and neat appearances with sharp facial features. He was tall, with dark-blonde hair with sparkly blue hazel eyes. The younger one, Ethan was short with an eyebrow piercing and green hazel eyes. The eldest brother who had spoken first smiled at Isamiona, "Eu Solisaän esrea naluka, don't start your nonsense."(This is not my Soul-dawn ceremony) she bluntly stated craning her neck to look up at Elijah, Ethan shot her a glare as she rolled her eyes clearly pissed off.

Eun-woo was lost with the language barrier but picked on that Isamiona was not impressed by her brothers being late. But the tension between the three had a rough brinkmanship, it was obvious to an outsider that the siblings have serious friction with one another that leaves a dry heaving in the atmosphere. "Have I told you that you've gotten much more beautiful over the years?"

"I hate tardiness, let dhis not happen again." she spoke with authority, ignoring the excuse of complimenting to act like their layers are thick like onions. There was no warm welcoming or reconnecting sibling bond like others would, dropping the still full cup into the bin and getting up while straightening her suit jacket. "Well? Were you on your best behaviour for Mister Yeon?" Isamiona shot a glare at Ethan, her eyes were fuming in rage. How her eyes darkened but glinted into a silvery moon glimmer, that frightened Eun-woo at the density of her hard glare.

"Ah! Yes, yes yes yes! She's very well-mannered." praising her to save her face, knowing how harsh and insulting Ethan can be at times, remembering that a few times himself. "She's been a wonderful company and I thank her once again." taking his small suitcase and bowing low at her. Isamiona's brothers were about to take her suitcases but were stopped by her black velvet gloved hand. Elijah opened his arms for her to hug as Isamiona narrowed her eyes walking towards his invitation, making Eun-woo smile a little that they were about to make up.

In one swift movement, she punched his stomach striking the diaphragm hard. Elijah collapsed onto his knees grunted in pain holding his abdomen, stepping aside as she flipped her middle finger at Ethan who looked at her with wide eyes. Patting Elijah's shoulder before balancing herself on one crutch, wobbly walking ahead of them.

"Thanks for accompanying my sister back in Cape town," Elijah said while pulling a drag from his cigarette, standing away from his friend in respect. "No problem, here's her final report card." Eun-woo handed over a white envelope with Isamiona's name in black ink, Elijah opened it with his cigarette hanging loosely on his lips. Unfolding the paper, scanning the grades from Term one to Term four. Humming as he nodded impressed by her grades, "Thanks."

"She's quiet,"

"I can see that," smoke puffed from his mouth as he spoke while putting the report card back into the envelope, "Normally she'd would talk people's ears off, maybe tomorrow she will be her cherry self by then." taking the cigarette between his fingers, looking at Isamiona who sat at the back of the car. Staring out the window, her eyes caught a group of boys standing near a car. One was looking at her directly with a phone pressed against his ear, catching a glimpse of a dragon tattoo snaking from his wrist to his pinkie.

They had a silent staring contest, eyes locked hard on. Hazel grey eyes against dark ones, it felt like the world slowed around them. The guy broke first turning around to his friends, giving herself a mental note to call some people.
