Jewels's fear (Blu and Jewel fanfiction)

Love

The wind was strong, Nico struggled to keep on track, he was coming to Minnesota. He was told by Jewel that the two are keeping a long distance relationship, Pedro stayed to keep their club going. The Atlantic wind was strong  but he followed The Gulf Stream that Blu taught him. He soon arrived at New York, The city was much more than Brazil, It seemed more modern and there were these massive buildings. He ignored them as he continued his way to Minnesota.

Jewel woke up, she felt heat in her wings, for a second she thought it was Blu but it was just her Phone, she always thought that every time she gets up. She sighed as she got of bed, She didn't feel like eating anything so she went and picked a book, this time, she got a book about american cooking. She was reading before she heard a knock. She heard a knock on the door again. She sighed as she was reading a chapter on how to make Mango ice cream. She slowly opened the door, to see a Spix Macaw. Roberto.(In this universe, everything in Rio 2 happened but instead of living with her clan, she did what Blu wanted and moved out.)

Jewel sighed as she looked at Roberto, how he tried to get her to stay when she was clearly hell bent on leaving(I wanted to make Roberto a respectable bird but I figured he will be better to progress the plot).

"Hi Jewel.....You look nice with those glasses" He said confidently

She glared at him before speaking

"What are you here for?" She annoyingly asked

"I just wanted to say hi" He said back, with a tone of sadness

"Ohh..." Jewel replied back with a hint of guilt.

"Mind if I come in?" He asked

"Sure..."  Jewel lead him in

"Do you need help?" Roberto asked, looking at how Jewel has to walk to get to the table.

"Nah I am fine" She defiantly said back

Roberto came down anyways trying pick her up

"Go away!" She said

Roberto was taking a back but he backed of anyways

Jewel climbed up the table and sat herself down

"How's your wing doing?" Roberto asked, while amazed at how organized their house looked.

"It's fine" She replied, eating a mango

"Why are you so unhappy at me?" Roberto asked

"You know why..." Jewel growled back

"Why because I begged you to stay at your own home?"

"Yeah but...I-w......." Jewel struggled to say anything

"See? I don't know why you left, you should have stayed with us"

"Blu wanted to, I didn't want to be selfish and treat him badly"

"Well now he's gone, what's the point of staying here!?" Roberto argued

"Because this is me and my husband's home!" Jewel argued back

"Cmon, me and you can have the life you wanted for years!"

"No! Even if I came back, the life I wanted doesn't seem all that appealing anymore."

"You are lying, I know it." Roberto pressed

"Roberto, please leave me alone" Jewel somberly said as she jumped of the chair and went to bed

"Please come back JuJu" I need you back home with your own kind, what about my needs?"

"Ohhh and what are your needs huh? Probably just trying to get me to have sex with you" She said as she closed the door

"You know that dad wanted you back right? He send me, I wasn't doing it in my own needs"

Roberto looked at Blu's door which Jewel had looked herself in. He shook his head as he left behind a note on the door. He quietly left the house

Jewel angrily paced back and forth on Blu's bed, angry at Roberto for pestering her. She picked up a cute stress toy she gave him when he was dealing with anxiety. She squeezed it and it lead out a cool chirp. She laid on Blu's bed crying to herself. Blu's smell could still be noticed. God did she miss Blu. She was a lonely bird, with a broken wing, and without a Mate.

Blu looked at the bowl of cereal that lay under him. One Month has passed since he left, Blu could admit that it was a much needed break from hot and wet Brazil. He wasn't really hungry so he slid down the railing to see Linda talking to some customers. He watched in amusement as as a young couple asked how much it will take for them to adopt Blu. Linda kindly declined, which made the couple mad, but like a boss, Linda excused them nicely.

Blu laid on his bed and opened a book about the Dark Ages but then a couple of chapters later, his phone started to ring. Blu curiously picked it up with answered.

"Hey Blue" a yellow canaries' voice  could be heard

"Oh hi Nico! Where are you right now, it seems the weather is not being nice to you" Blu replied

"Oh actually can you let me in? I am just outside your shop"

Blu quickly dropped the phone quickly let him in 

"Thanks Blu!" He happily said as he dried himself

"Look I need to tell you something" Nico seriously said
