The warm hue of the café lights were seeping out the locked windowed door. Levi put his key and slowly turned it until he heard a soft click, signaling the door is open. The temperature outside is crisp but the shop was so comforting and warm. He turns to close the door he just walked through and open the huge glass windows to finally open his shop. The orange and yellow leaves on the trees comforts him in a strange way. As he turns away from the windows he starts preparing the station so he can make himself coffee. He hears the small bell above the door ring, indicating someone has entered.

"What can I do for you today.." he says with his back still turned to the front.
"I'll take a vanilla espresso please." Levi hears a new voice, usually he knows all of his usual customers.

He turns around to see a man with dark brown hair.

"Ah I don't think I've ever had you in before" Levi says in a soft voice.
"I've never been in this coffee shop before but my son wanted to check it out, my name is Dave by the way" The man extended his arm and shook Levi's hand.

On his shoulder sits a chipmunk with a red hoodie on and a large yellow 'A' on his chest. 'That must be his son' Levi thought, he then turned around to get started on the mans drink.

"Don't I have to pay first?" Dave had asked.
"...no of course not first time customers get a free drink" he replied shortly after.

Dave started walking away as the usual customers started pouring into the shop. Right before he sat down Levi turned around and made eye contact with the chipmunk. 'Cute' he thought.
