Hey, author here, this is my first actual story! Basically it's just me recounting my dreams. Hope you like it!

I walked for hours and hours. It was winter, breath fogging up. It happens many times when I just dream randomly, this being one of them. It was crunchy underneath my shoes, twigs probably. The body I was in just kept walking forwards. We were walking towards a purple light, weird.

I have arrived at the forest! The trees are all different kinds of shapes; twirly, split, reverse. Their leaves were unusual. Instead of being green they were a variety of purple and blue. Guess that's where that light came from, it sort of looked like a faerie forest. Hey, your imagination can come up with wild things!

The body then stopped, which was weird cause we were in nowhere land. But then I heard a snap. Someone was coming. I tried all I could to just move my neck but noooo. Guess you can't ask for everything. The 'thing' stopped right behind me, I could hear it's breathing. Finally, the body turned around and I looked directly up at it. It looked like a man, except that his eyes were... weird. Sort of the kind you'd expect from a cosplayer! He was tall, maybe six foot two. I gained from my surroundings that I was five foot one. My normal height. He had shaggy brown hair that covered most of his face but he was clean shaven. His clothes were even more bizarre, he was wearing a grassy like shirt with armor pads. A belt with a sword, like an actual sword, and leather pants. He was barefoot too.

"Viens. Nous besoin partir." I shivered, his voice was a lot rougher than I had expected! Also, what language was he speaking? I have no idea what he just said.

Apparently my body understood as it was following him while he was walking away. He made his way smoothly through the woods, I just realized that had been following a path earlier. The forest was thick with many bushes and roots, I tripped a ton. But, for some reason he always seemed to notice and caught me. Yes, cheesy, but hey, my heart melted. What can I say? I'm a hopeless romantic!

The man stopped right in front of me and I crashed into him. His back was hard, almost like it was stone, and when I crashed he didn't move an inch. My body looked past the side of his to see a huge hole. It was the width of a mansion!

"C'est la ton destination. Le- Prison of Mahlaha." That's weird, it just switched to English. Or did my ears change? I'm so confused.

Calm down Vict. Ah! I realized I never introduced myself! Good day, my name is Victoria Burn. Call me Vict. I'm a depressed high school teen with an over imaginative mind. Though you probably didn't need to know that. I love sleeping and playing video games, and now I'm veering from the story. Whoops!

So. Summary if everything in the dream. I cannot control my body and am in a beautiful forest. I have followed a strange man to a hole he called 'Prison of Malhala' and am currently staring at the cells that were engraved into the walls. Nothing moved so there were most likely no prisoners. Well, that I can see. It goes too deep down to see further.

The man looked at me and sighed. "C'était ta décision. Pardon mais à revoir." Okay.. bunch of nonsense. Wait why is he looking a me sadly? My eyes stared at him for an unnerving amount of time and his face softened. Did this body know him or something?

My body looked around, everything around the prison had a dead look, that wasn't good. Then it stood in front of the hole, facing the man. It saluted him and said "Je t'aime Maxime, et a revoir." And guess what the body did. It jumped off!

It just let itself fall deeper into the darkness, looking up into the dark midnight sky that was twinkling with stars as wind whipped around it. Oh, this world has two moons. Nice.

I woke up drenched. Water was dripping down every part if my body and my clothes were sticking. My body looked down, I was wearing a dress with cuts on the side. Fashion, maybe? What made me even more surprised was that I was still here. In a dream. Soaked.

My body glanced around. I was at the end of a humongous corridor. Like an underground dungeon. I could either explore the path to my right, or check out the cells around me. My body got up and climbed into a cell on the wall. Why? I don't know. It glanced around, there were bones stuck into chains that were laying on the corner. A skeleton if you will. There was moss everywhere and my feet squelched every time I took a step. Talk about unkept. My body hid in the other corner, going into a ball. At first I was just confused, then understood when I heard a roar. It bounced through my body causing goose bumps. Then, a step. Well, more like a stomp. The ground shook and dirt was trickling down as it started to come closer.

Step, by step. My body was shaking as it came closer, sweat dripping down. Colors were slowly seeping out of the surroundings. Then my body looked at the corridor. There is stood, with all its ginormous beauty. It could be described as a fat ogre, had the qualities of one. The large tusks, broiling feet, meaty stomach, and pointed ears. No hair, of course. There were chains hanging around his wrists, and just then I realized.

My cell had prison bars. With no entry. How the hell did I get in? Though the bars were rusting they were still nice and strong. While I was confused the ogre raised one of its hands and whipped around the chain. Thanks to the bars, I was safe though some were torn away.

Up above me I heard a chirp, my body looked up and saw what seemed like a monkey wearing a red vest. It stopped right between me and the bars. I stared at it, curiously. How did it get here? Why is it here? And why is it wearing a vest? While we stared at each other I noticed the ogre staring straight at the monkey. Me and my body straight in sync reached out and yelled "Derrière toi!" Behind you! But it was too late. Just as the monkey started turning around it got snatched by the chain.

His body, like a rag doll, bounced around, hitting the walls in every direction. The ogre was laughing... laughing! The voice boomed around the cells as the monkey's body slammed into a wall. Stuck. I. Was. Terrified.

My body curled into a ball, hoping, praying that it didn't notice me. Everything was quiet. Chains being moved by the wind from the corridor. Water dripping down to the floor.

Nothing moved.

I grew hopeful. Maybe it went away! My body was most likely think that too as it slowly raised our head and looked out.

Right in front of us was two gleaming red eyes staring right into our soul.
