LATE

Nothing could spoil my morning anymore than me, being late and school was starting in ten freaking minutes. Damn

No I'm not a smart kid but my grades are pretty good, but I hate being late. Cause being late meant no back seat for me and, that meant being in the front and getting called to answer some questions and that didn't help.

I don't know how I got out of the bathroom and got dressed but, I was out of the house like lightning. I heard my mum yelling my name but I ignored her

"I'm late." I yelled out as I ran.

My normal routine was to walk to school which was a fifteen, thirty minute walk from my home and this was me taking my casual time.

I dashed along the pathway panting hard. The gym would have paid off at this point.

My lungs begged for air, as I got tired and stopped. The school was in sight as I heaved a sigh of relief.

Resting a little, placing my hands on my knees to catch some air.

"Damn do you run". Voice one said as I rolled my eyes back as a reply.

"Don't hurt yourself, you're panting hard". Voice two said. I sighed as I stood fully, and began to walk fast towards school.

My feet were burning and shaking like, I had done a marathon. I was tired but, I had successfully gotten to school

"Hallelujah". Voice one said probably happy of my safe arrival as I was.

I walked into my school(hell) huffing and pushed through the doorway with some late comers

I panted hard, as I walked through the hallway, receiving some stares from people while others just ignored me.

Sigh.

I shook my head and walked to my locker. Inserting the code for the lock, the small door opened.

Exchanging the books I had in my bag for the ones in my locker, my friend Ndile tapped my shoulder.

On seeing her, I smiled. She is pretty with some mad curves, dark skin, brown eyes and braided hair.

We've known each other since middle school and, we have been friends since then.

"You okay waynes?" Okay, she definitely didnt need to ask cause of my sweat drenched body, but it was important.

What should I tell her? That I was late cause of the weird voices that started talking in my head this morning?

"That is not an option". Voice one said

"Well except if she's pretty interested in the mental ward." Voice three said.

I forgot these guys could still talk.
"Dont say that honey we could still hear you." Voice 2 said

Great.

So I couldn't even have some personal space in my head.

I rolled my eyes and sighed, then I noticed my friends expression change.
