Alya POV
"Alya it's been weeks just hear him out" Jas said as we eat brunch. "Girl please what do he really have to say" I said drinking my three mimosa.
"Don't turn into no alcoholic" Jas joked. "It's my only day off I'm just enjoying I'm not gone become an alcoholic over being hurt wrong person" I said eating a piece of bacon.
"I'm just saying Alya, Tyler was your best friend before the feeling I don't think he will hurt you like that" Jas explained.
"I didn't either but you didn't see them kiss I did so let's just talk about something else I'll talk to him when I'm ready" I said. "How is it living with Trey" I asked smiling.
"Girl it's amazing like I feel the love all the time and he so supportive like if I told him today that I wanted to jump out of a plane he would be like let's grab our parachute." She explained showing all 32.
"Awww I'm so happy for you and your almost at the two year mark" I said smiling too.
"Right I'm not going to lie I thought he would've broke my heart by now" she said joking.
"That's cuz you always negative thinking you gotta think positive" I said cutting my waffle.
"Says the girl that haven't talked to the dude she wants in weeks" Jas laughed going back to her food.
I finished my mimosa and continued to eat in silence. "I know you not mad right now" Jas said looking at me.
"I'm not you just making me feel like my feelings is invalid like reason or not I seen what I seen so I feel like I should dictate when I want to hear him out and you supposed to sit there and respect that" I said finishing my food.
"But we don't know the full story you should know before you get in your feeling" she said blowing me. I smacked my teeth.
"You don't know if they is a full story like come on now Jas you act like Tyler is god I get you dating his homeboy and he's your friend but what if it's no story they kissed and that's it. You don't know as much as I don't so stop trying to change my feelings about it. Matter of fact where the waiter at" I said ready to go.
"Alya" Jas started but was interrupted by the waiter. "Here is your card sign here and is there anything else I can get you" he asked looking around.
"No" I said signing the receipt and grabbing my bag going to the car. As I crank up the car Jas knock on the door. I roll down the window looking at her.
"Look Alya I'm not trying to invalidate your feels it's just-" she started. "It's cool I'll see you next week" I said rolling up the window and making sure she got in her car before pulling off.
I get to my house changing my clothes and going to my room. Today is going to be a relaxed day I finally don't have work for two days so I'm treating myself to my well needed rest.
I plug my phone up getting under the covers.
I woke up after about 4 hours hungry again. I put my robe on because it was cold then walking to the kitchen. "What to eat" I said to myself as I look around for something quick to make.
I pull the chicken wings out of the frigerator. I washed my hands then I grab a pan and a bowl putting the chicken in the bowl cleaning it good before seasoning it with basically my whole season cabinet.
I cover it up putting it to the side going washing my hands then grab two potatoes to made some fries. After cleaning and cutting up the potatoes I put cornstarch on them then put them in the freezer.
I washed my hands again before going to my room and watching my show for 30 minutes to let my chicken marinate a little. I go back to the kitchen grabbing some chips as I hear my phone ring in my room.
I look at it seeing that it was Tyler I finally decided to answer after all the miss calls. "Hello" I said silently. "Alya why you been ignoring me I miss you" he said
"You ain't miss me when you was kissing your ex" I said making him smack his teeth. "I'm coming to pick you up at 3 tomorrow be ready" he said then hanging up making me smack my teeth going to the kitchen.
I decided to make some lemon pepper wings and fries. I preheat the oven wanting to make them baked as I put them in I think about what could Tyler actually say to make the situation better
Maybe he still got feeling for her and he called to let me down easy and use that trash line like "we are better as friends" I don't wanna hear that at all. I might Love and hip hop throw a drink on him.
I need to remember to pack a water just for that. I hope he have a good reason like she threatened him so his only choice was to kiss her.
I just hope it's not as bad as it looks and I'm over exaggerating and Jas is right.
After my wings was 3/4 of the way done I start to cook my fries hoping to eat soon I'm starving. I back up from the grease so it don't pop me. I need to invent into a deep fryer.
My food was finally completely done I grabbed a juice and my plate going to the living room picking a movie to get my mind off of the fact it talking to Tyler tomorrow and I'm nervous.
