"shit" I sighed as I turned off my phone.
"everything okay?" I looked up to see my best friend Sarah.
"no" I smiled.
"you look hot in the new pic" she shrugged which made me smile before rubbing my temple, "anyways, I was never in the 'spotlight'. whats it like?"
"tiktokroom ruins lives" I sighed, "basically thats all you have to worry about" I shrugged and she sat on the floor beside me.
"why you so worried again?" she looked over at me as I threw my head back against the bed.
"did I ever tell you why I moved here?" she shook her head and I nodded.
"my ex and his friends, I couldn't stand to be around them anymore because there were cameras everyone. you would get threats by who you hung out with, my friends were amazing but I couldn't handle it all. wasn't meant for me you know?"
"fuk, thats a lot"
"hold on!" I stood up and grabbed my phone off my bed, I went onto insta and brought up Vinnies account.
"don't do anything you'll regret!" it was to late, I was finally happy. there, thats when it hit me, I put my phone down and crossed my arms.
"would I have seemed desperate?" she shook her head while giving me a hug.
"lets go get a drink?" she pulled my arm and into our living room and threw a jacket at me, "lets go to the lobby?" I nodded and followed her down the five flights of stairs. by the time we made it to the bottom we were both out of breath.
"we..are..very out of shape" I laughed while leaning froward and resting my hand on Sarah's shoulder.
we decided to have a few drinks before going back to our apartment and just relaxing for the rest of the night. right when I was about to call it a night my phone went off for about the thousandth time tonight, I didn't expect the post to get that much attention but I guess people really missed me which made me feel a lot better about the whole thing. I opened my phone and nearly screamed when I saw who the DM was from.
