Kaitlyn and Stephanie walked back to their offices. Kaitlyn was obviously on cloud nine. Her long, brown ponytail bounced with each step.

"Can you BELIEVE it?," she asked Stephanie, hanging on to her best friend for dear life.

Stephanie chuckled. "I KNOW!," she replied, patting her jubliant best friend on her back. "Girl, you will never make it," she shook her head as she walked away.

Kaitlyn sat at her desk, logged in to her email, and sent her response to the secretary requesting 2 tickets. She decided she'd ask her brother, Jayson, since he was a big fan too. She beamed to herself, slowly slipping away into her dream world in which she would meet JJ and Aaron, the three of them talking together like the best of friends, smiling and laughing, walking away arm in arm in arm.

The knock at her door shook her out of her temporary bliss.

"Hey, Scott," she said, looking surprised. Her best friend from elementary school liked to surprise her whenever he was in town.

"Kaitlyn sweetie," he walked around to her side of the desk, Kaitlyn quick to hug her best friend close.

"You don't have any shows right now?" Scott was a guitarist for a few different bands, but right now, he wasn't on tour.

"Nah, I have a couple weeks off, so I wanted to see my girl." Kaitlyn smiled a little, but then looked down. She was far from his girl. They tried that a few years ago, and decided friendship was the best way to go.

"I'm glad you did," she replied. "Hey, you know I just got some pretty exciting news. JJ Watt, Aaron Rodgers, and Russell Wilson are coming to campus next month to lecture and scrimmage with the team."

"Really? That's so cool! Can I go?"

"I was going to ask Jayson, but sure."

"Awesome girl! We will have a blast! Want to grab some lunch later?"

"Nah, I'm swamped, but I can join you for dinner."

"Okay, it's a date." He winked and left my office. He was beautiful, I will give him that. Tall, thin, handsome, dark hair, dark eyes, just the right amount of stubble. He broke my heart too badly though. I was still happy we were friends.

Kaitlyn went back to her daydream, imagining what it would be like to meet them, what she would say. She quickly dismissed the thought this time realizing that it would take a small miracle with everyone around- all of the other students, faculty, guests- to get the opportunity. "What a dream," she thought to herself, looked ahead at her computer, and settled in to work.
