As she is walking she turns her backpack backwards and unzips it. She searches for her sketchbook and takes out a pencil. "Maybe if I see Mr. Mishi I can finish my sketch of him and show him! I hope he's there." Nao is humming to herself when she hears a soft meow from the sidewalk. She opens one eye and quiets her humming.
"Its Mr. Mishi!" She says to herself. Nao rushes to get her notebook out and tells the gray cat to stay still. "Mr. Mishi! Do me a favor will you? Can you stay still just for a moment, I just need to get your coat pattern on my sketch."
The gray cat seems to understand her and lies on the pavement with his back up. He looks at Nao and meows. Nao is more focused on sketching now, it seems like she's blocked out her surroundings.
"I'm almost done Mr. Mishi! Just a few more- There! All done!" Nao walks over to the gray cat and kneels to pet him."Thank you for letting me sketch you! I'm going to the coffee shop now, bye bye!" Nao scrunches her nose and gives the gray cat two pats. She then walks toward the shop, humming.
