^ Her Hair ^

- Reko's POV -

"The usual please." Reko says with one earbud in her ear.
"Okay, your total is $5.99." The waitress says as the bell on the door rings, signaling there's a new guest.

Reko digs for six dollars in her pocket, she would use a wallet but her last wallet caught on fire in one of her concerts.

"Aw shit, just give me a minute I'm so sorry." Reko pulls out her phone and opens her phone case just as someone accidentally bumps into her. "Hey! Watch where ya goin' I almost dropped my-" Reko looks up to see a pink haired lady with a paintbrush in her bush-like hair. Reko stares at her in awe.

Nao looks up for, her sketchbook and looks nervous. "Oh my god, I'm-I'm so sorry I wasn't looking where I was going because I was trying to do the last sketches on this cat I'm drawing and-"

"Hey." Reko says softly. "It's alright no need to explain yourself, I understand" Reko tries to seem less intimidating and gives an awkward smile.

Nao smiles sweetly, seeing that the punk-styled lady is still at the register, Nao hands Reko a $10 bill and pats her shoulder trying to seem calm, when in reality she is very very ecstatic that someone as cool looking as Reko was talking to her casually.

SHE HANDED ME A 10 DOLLAR BILL SO CASUALLY?! WHAT THE FUCK DOES SHE THINK IM POOR?! Reko is freaking the fuck out.

- Nao's POV -

Nao goes to a tall seat in the window and puts her bag on the back of the chair and takes her paintbrushes out. She places her sketchbook and tools in front of her. As she is sitting she is wondering if the punk-styled lady is sat down yet. Nao looks around the shop and see's the punk-styled lady looking for a seat. Nao waves her arm up in the air trying to get her attention. "I really hope she see's me, I didn't get time to brush my hair this morning so it's bigger than usual...Oh! I think she saw me! I should act calm, okay." Nao takes 2 deep breathes and prepares herself for the punk-style lady.

- Reko's POV -

She wants me to sit with her? Reko thinks to herself. I don't even know her name! Aw man I'm screwed. Reko see's the bush of hair that the art lady has and walks towards it fixing her phone case.
"Hey!" Reko says.
"Hello!" The art lady says, smiling.
"I um, never got your name. Would you mind telling me it?" Reko says whilst leaning her arms on the table and resting her head on her arms.
"Oh yeah! I was going to ask the same thing!" The lady responds, giggling.
"I'm Nao, Nao Egokoro! What's your name?" Nao says with a smile.
"Oh I'm Reko Yabusame!" Reko says smiling.

Nao turns back to her sketchbook and continues doing the line art for Mr. Mishi. Reko peeks over at her sketchbook and is amazed by how realistic it already looks for being only in the sketching phase.
"WOAH!"
Nao turns sharply confused on why Reko is saying that.
"Did something happen?"
"Your art...it's amazing!" Reko practically is gleaming at this point. Nao uses her hair as a shield to cover her blushing face.
"thank...you" she whispers, blushing.

She goes back to her work but Reko notices that she keeps having to move her hair out of her drawing. Reko reaches into her jacket pocket and pulls out an elastic. When Nao is focused on something she often doesn't notice her surroundings. Reko goes behind Nao's chair and pulls all her hair in one hand gently and realizes that's her hair is surprisingly very soft. Reko is very amused by her hair when Nao suddenly glances to her side and doesn't see Reko. She is confused and then feels her hair being moved. Nao turns around and looks up at Reko and immediately her face turns red.

"Oh, uhm R-Reko?"
"Oh sorry I keep seeing you move your hair so I decided to put it into a ponytail for you!"
MAN YOU LOOK SO CREEPY RIGHT NOW. "If you want i can just give you the elastic, I'm sorry."

Nao covers her face to prevent her from seeing her awfully red face. "No! Um I mean- it's alright! I'll just continue my drawing."

Reko takes Nao's hair and her fingers brush against Nao's cheek grabbing a loose hair. Reko puts her hair into a cute messy bun and then takes a secret fish-face selfie to show her.

"Look Nao! I'm done" Reko says grinning.
"Wow, Reko you are good at doing hairstyles!" Nao continues. "Also that face you made is so cute haha." She blurts out.
Reko blushes. "Hey Nao do you want to hang out sometime?"
Nao looks down.
