[Baie]

I slammed myself into my dorm and slammed my Slytherin bag onto my bed, only to jump at the yelp that followed.

"What the fuck - who the fuck?!" I shouted, through my tears, throwing the blanket off my bed to reveal - surprisingly - Hermione Granger. "What the fuck do you want, Granger?"

"I had to be sure." she stated, gently, sliding off my bed.

"Be sure of what?" I growled, glaring at her and hoping she caught my warning expression.

"That you weren't just spying on us for Draco." She gulped, as I drew my wand, slamming her against the wall and found that Slytherin pleasure of fear on her eyes. "I'm sorry!"

"I'm not in the mood Granger, get the fuck out of here before I change my mind." I smirked, releasing her and hearing her scatter to the door, but I froze when I didn't hear her open the door. "Didn't you hear me?" I smirked, rounding on her.

"Yes, but what about the other Slytherins?" she asked, turning to me with her hand on the knob of the door.

"Not." I smirked, stepping closer to her and speaking with each step. "My. Fucking. Problem." I shoved her out of my door and slammed the door shut behind her.

I locked and just allowed myself to slide down the door and sulk in my emotions.

I should have known.

Haven...she always get's in the way.

For someone that started out as an okay friend, she's really turned out to be a real cunt.

I whipped some tears off my face.

How could someone that claimed to love me, hurt me so much?

How could someone like Draco, be the one that I fell for - so goddamn hard?

I frowned at the thought of him accusing me of cheating on him with Potter.

None of it was true.

The truth was a lot darker.

I felt a knot form in my throat as his lips came to mind.

His touch.

His smile.

His hair.

His hugs.

His way of flirting.

His eyes.

My heart throbbed out of rhythm as I attempted to stop the tears and control my breathing better.

He was my first love.

My first, true, heartbreak.

What the fuck am I going to do?

I jumped at the sudden wiggle of my door knob and stood up abruptly.

"Baie," came a gentle voice that I knew way too much.

"Star." I exhaled, unlocking the door and pulling her inside and then slamming the door shut once more, in Pansy's face I might add.

"Hey!" she shouted, knocking on my door, but she didn't stick around she seemed to have disappeared.

"What happened out there, after you left the Great Hall?" asked Star, raising an eyebrow at my comforter that was on the floor. "You might get cold without that, you know?"

"I had a spy." I smirked, jerking it off the floor and tossing it careless over the end of my bed, then dropped down beside of it softly. "Granger had to see if I wasn't just getting close them for Draco's sake."

Star rolled her eyes as she dropped down beside me.

"Does no one know when to back off?" Star asked, breathlessly. "She's a problem with me too. She has a thing for Weasley...and we can't have that."

I grinned at her confrontation.

"So, what happened?" she asked, more gently.

"I -" I paused, not sure how to speak. "- I just -" I paused once more and just finally locked eyes with Star and crumbled. "- It's over."

Star wrapped her arms around me as I soaked her shoulder.

The silence in the room was stinging our ears and the fact Haven and Pansy wasn't up our asses was a little different.

We had been back to Hogwarts for at least two weeks, and everyone had kept their distance from us.

When I say everyone, I'm meaning the Slytherin House, minus Haven and Pansy.

Of course, right?

I have no clue when this engagement of Draco and Haven happened, but whenever it may have been - it sounded like it was after our escape from our weddings.

We sat there, Star and I, in complete silence.

The silence was stinging still, but almost relaxing.

"How are you going to deal with him?" asked Star, after quite a while of silence.

"The same way I would if he was any other guy." I shrugged, finally leaning off her shoulder.

"Which is?" Star pushed, leaning back and pulling my Slytherin bag closer to us and pulling out that book I grabbed form the library. "You don't have a string of guys to judge your next move from, you know?"

"I know," I sighed, looking at the book as well as she started to flip through it. "I'll just do what I do best."

Star looked up from the book, waiting for an answer.

"Hold my head up and fight." I shrugged.

"Fight who?" Star giggled.

"What's to come, we both know what's about to happen." I stated, feeling my nose clog up again and I rose from the bed to move to the bathroom to blow my nose.

"Yeah, about that..." sighed Star, as I froze in the bathroom. "...that's been moved up the first of the month."

"In a week?" I squealed from the doorway.

"In a week." confirmed Star, sliding across my bed to face me. "So, what was the purpose in this?"

"That, my dear Star, is a book of protection spells." I explained, as Star gave me an obvious look. "It's the same one Dumbledore used on the castle -"

"- like that's going to come in handy soon." smirked Star. "You mean protection spells for us, or the whole gang?"

"It was mainly to protect us from Pansy and Haven." I shrugged as Star passed me the book. "I don't think we have that problem anymore though, not as harsh anyway."

"The way you just withdrew you wand and went at her with your fists," laughed Star, clapping her hands together. "I think we're safe."

I rose an eyebrow at her tone.

"What did you mean by that?" I inquired.

"I'm just saying the old Baie is back." shrugged Star, throwing her hands up defensively. "Since you fell for Draco, you've become -"

"- soft?" I asked, tracing the edge of my dresser.

"Yeah, exactly." nodded Star, and I could tell she was trying not to upset me. "My only question for you is, how are you going to work through these emotions, Baie? You can't just beat the shit out of Haven every time you see her -"

"- why not?" I giggled, causing Star to smile.

"Eventually, you'll be expelled or arrested." Star shrugged.

"Worth it?" I shrugged, causing us both to break into a giggle. "No, I know...I'm not sure how I'll handle it yet...but we have more important things to worry about anyway."

"Right." Star nodded, smiling at a random page of the book as I passed it back to her. "Third floor bathroom then?"

"Third floor bathroom." I winked.

We were surviving this.

With, or without, Draco - I'll get through this.
