yua made the kids their breakfast since taeyong was in a rush this morning, the kids were sulking that their dad had left so abruptly

"minhyung? why are you in that corner?" yua asked running over to the sulking boy

"why did daddy have to leave?" minhyung asked meeting eyes with yua, she didn't know what to say

she takes a seat next to the boy, "he'll come back, he comes home every night to kiss you, he loves you" minhyung hugs her

"you mean that noona?" looking back up at her and she nods, "i know that minhyung"

"now go back and play with the others, i'll cook" she smiled, minhyung picks up his mood and runs back to the kids announcing that noona is cooking

she chuckles seeing the boys in the playroom playing together, it reminded her of how yuta and naru would play with her while they were younger

"do you need help?" sicheng asked, "you can cut these" she said handing him the bowl of fruit

"be careful don't hurt yourself", "got it noona" sicheng smiles

sicheng looks at yua with admiration, a lot of characteristics from yua reminded him of taeyoo his mother

from how gentle she is with kids and how nice she is to everyone around her, he couldn't help but to think of his mom

after they were doing prepping and cooking, yua helped the babies wash their hands then they finally sat down and ate

"woah noona! its so good" chenle smiles, "you're such a good cook" yukhei complimented

flustered with compliments she shyly replies "thank you boys", "cook as good as dad" jaehyun said

"agreed" jungwoo chuckles, "noona, where did you learn how to cook this good?" kunhang asked

"i went to school for it" she replied, "oh! i want to go to school for cooking now" donghyuck pouts

"you'll get there buddy" she chuckles, "i'll be like you noona" donghyuck shouts

"ah, i don't think thats a good idea, your daddy will miss you if you become me", donghyuck looks down

"oh, well i don't want daddy to be sad but i'll be a good cook like noona" he smiles once again

breakfast was quiet and comforting, everyone laughed at jungwoo jokes and yua's stories back in japan

after breakfast jisung began to fuss signaling he was tired

yua was bouncing jisung who was in her arms until he fell asleep, "jisung is sleeping?" shotaro asked

yua nods, "yua-san, how was japan for you?" he asked quietly, "japan was fun, i enjoyed it

"why did you leave then?", "i didn't, i tried staying but my parents left me here" she sighs taking shotaro on her lap

"mommy did that too, were you a bad girl? mommy said sungchan and i were naughty so she left us here with daddy" he pouts

yua felt angry, he was sad and she knew that, who in their right mind would say that to their child

"no i wasn't but taro you aren't naughty, you treat your brothers so nice" she said softly caressing his hair

"but mommy said", "doesn't matter, what matters know is that you have a family that loves you"

shotaro turns his head that was on her chest to look at her, "do you love me noona?"

without hesitation, "of course shotaro, i love you", "i love you too" he smiles and goes back to laying on her chest

the house was quiet, everyone was napping everyone were in their rooms except for the three on the couch

taeyong had come home earlier than expected shocked that the house was quiet

his heart melted at the sight of shotaro cuddling up to yua while she was holding jisung

he grabbed a blanket from the other couch to cover them up, kissed his kids on the head and smiles to himself

she looked quite cute with them he thought then shaking his head at the thought

at the end of the day, she was only their caretaker nothing else, or maybe thats what he thought at least.
