August
It's been almost 2 weeks into the new school year, and I have my eyes set on a new broad.
Akari.
Problem is, things haven't been going like I thought they would.
I would say that shawty is a little... difficult.
She also been extra affectionate towards me lately as well.. Like the tables been turned on a nigga.
Click. Clack. Click.
The sound of heels abrupt me from my thoughts, as I arose my head from my desk. I already knew who it was.
"Hey, August.." Akari trailed off as she slithered her hand around my shoulder.
I could hear some girls gag in disgust around the classroom. Great.
"Um, hey Akari." I managed to choke up as she took the empty seat in front of me.
"I hope we don't make being late a habit, Mrs. Brooklyn."
"Yes, Mr. Tyson." She smirked as she looked back at me over her shoulder.
Jordynne and Tyrell went into uncontrollable giggles.
I rolled my eyes.
See what I mean?
Ever since that incident on the first day school, she's been everywhere. How could you not want something at first, but then be all up on it all of a sudden?
I just don't get it! It's seriously been messing up my game, but I'm not about to give up.
Jordynne tapped me on my shoulder. I turned around towards her as she flashed me a wide grin.
I sighed.
I really did not have time for her daily antics. Ever since this shit went down, she just could not stop running her mouth.
"Just gone ahead and say what you gotta say, J."
"Nah, I think I'm done for the day." She cooed as she played with her curls.
"Good." I mumbled. For a stud, I never seen someone so giddy about other people's relationships. Not that we had one anyway, but still.
"About damn time. Tired of hearing yall bickering every damn day." Tyrell said as he slouched his face on his fist.
I shrugged. "Whatever man, I'm just ready to go. This is my last class, it's the fucking weekend, and a nigga ain't tryna hear all dat." I said as my thick Nola accent started to slur my words.
"Hm, what you got going on?"
"None of your damn business." I snapped as I got up and slung my backpack over shoulder.
Jordynne furrowed her eyebrows.
"Don't catch an attitude with me because shit ain't going yo way."
"Whatever man." I lowly replied as I made my way through the row of desks.
"Where you think you're go-" Tyrell covered her mouth.
" Leave him alone, Jordynne. Damn."
As I passed through the desks, my eyes met with Akari's. We blankly stared at each other that seems like forever, but I quickly broke it off.
The last thing I need is for her to say something smart and hear Jordynne's fuckin' mouth.
"Mr. Alsina, class is not over in-"
"Well it's out for me, peace." I replied as I made my way towards the door. Echoes of laughter echoed throughout the classroom as I closed the door.

After walking for several minutes, I ended up by the bleachers outside on the football field in our usual spot. I pulled out my phone and dialed her number. After several seconds, she picked up on the 3rd ring.
"Hey love."
"Say baby, you coming or what?"
"Yeah, I'm on my way. Teacher put me out for some shit."
"Ok, but I'm in the usual spot."
"Alright boo, see you in a bit."
I hung up the phone and held my head in my hands. At least this will take my mind off a things.
At least for da mean time.

When August captured my gaze, it was like the whole world and time stopped itself.
I know I told myself I wouldn't fall for him and that he's just a player, but there are some moments when I'm not able to control myself. I don't know how much longer I can keep this facade up, but I am not about to have this jerk have the satisfaction of making me another victim on his list.
As he broke off his stance with me, he seemed angry. Frustrated. I wonder why?
I think I'll poke fun at this. I always did like a little drama.
I wonder where he went off too? I'm sure his friends don't have problem telling me. I averted my attention to the Hispanic female with curly hair. She seemed familiar, but I'm not gonna worry about it for now.
"Excuse me.. Jordynne, is it?" I asked putting on my best innocent looking face.
She smirked and adjusted her SnapBack. "Why yes it is, what can I do for you shawty?"
"I was just wondering if you knew where August went?" I asked while pouting my lip.
"Nah, we don't know where he went." The other guy that he hangs with decided to butt in.
"I don't think she asked you." She rolled her eyes. "But he probably with that bitch, Tiana like always..." She mumbled under her breath which was barely audible.
Tyrell grimaced at her and shook his head as if to tell her something. She stared at him and a evil creepy smile crept across her face.
I looked at the both of them confused, unaware of the weird ass situation. Do they know something that I don't?
"Yeah.. He's with that Tiana girl. They usually meet on the football field near the bleachers, you can't miss them. I don't know why they sneak around though, almost everyone knows. He's fucking idiot." Jordynne's said matter-of-factly as she licked her lips.
The other guy held his head down and shook his head.
Hm, well that was easier then I thought!
"Thanks, hun."
"Anytime, sexy." She said as she stroked her chin.
I rolled my eyes at her comment and glanced at my watch.
2 minutes until the bell rings.
Good. Glad today was just a free day.
The sooner I can leave and pay August a little visit, the more I can watch him squirm.
Hope he's not having too much fun without me!
