Akari

After fiddling with my hair in the mirror and making sure it covered my face, I opened my car door and hopped out.

After glancing at myself in my car's window once more, I flinched as the cut on my cheek stung.

I was surprised they left me off so easily this time.

Better be lucky that they caught me off guard.

After slightly rubbing it, I looked around in the half empty parking lot and started to strut towards the mall entrance.

It was a Saturday and I haven't been out since school started. I decided to have a little time for myself for a change and get my mind off of life. I swear if I didn't, it would have drive me crazy by now.

After entering the three story mall, I swiftly made my way to Banana Republic. You know ya girl gotta stay laced up.

As I walked in, I greeted the cashiers and made my way into the store. After picking out a few selected outfits, I walked to the fitting room to try them on. After walking in, I was greeted with a young female that was in charge of the dressing rooms. She shot me a smile as she quickly took her attention back to her computer screen.

"Hello, welcome to Banana Republic. How many items do-"

She looked at me up and down smiled.

I looked at her weirdly as I tightly clutched my items. I will whoop that ass if I have to.

Then it finally hit me on who she was.

"Akari, is it? It's me, Tiana! So sorry about yesterday, I think we got off on a bad start."

I only nodded.

Pfft.

"Mhm, I see."

"I know that you might think I'm a bad person, but I'm really not."

"I've never said you was, but you just look like trouble to me. I mean you was sucking August's dick and went off for no apparent reason sooo.."

She tighten her grip on the pen she was holding but then finally relaxed it. Mhmm, she know better.

She tucked her hair behind her ear and started to fiddle with her thumbs.

"I know, I should have never came at you like that and could have handled the situation better.. And what ever happened to your face?"

I quickly covered my face.

"It's nothing and none of your business." I slightly raised my voice at her.

"Oh um.. Well, so is it okay if we been friends then?"

Um, excuse me?

I had to think about this for a moment because how you gonna go from hating me because your fuck toy ran after me instead.. to wanna be friends? This has suspicious written all over it and I don't have time to deal with these basic ass females. And especially not with the school hoe.

"Nah, I'll think pass."

"Are you sure? I mean l-"

"Yeah, now can I please try on my clothes or nah?"

She furrowed her eyebrows and mumbled under her breath as she reached for a card under desk.

"Yeah, here." She dryly said as she threw the card in my hand.
