Chapter D

After a year Lisa and Y/N were really close. They would always spend time together and Lisa would act like a mother to Y/N. Y/N  hasn't been this happy in years.

It was summer right before school starts again for Lisa's last year and Y/N's second. "Hey O/N/N!(other/nick/name)" Lisa runs up and ruffles her head while giving a side hug. "You ready for club today?!" The smaller nods with a smile. "Yea. I heard that coach said she had something important for all of us."

Lisa nods thinking while looking off. "Are you okay Lis?" She shakes her head fast. "Oh! Yea I'm fine! Let's get to class before the bell!" Y/N shakes it off and runs to her class while Lisa runs to hers.

-time skip-
"Alright guys! Gather up I have some news!" Everyone gets in a group on the floor by the coach. "So I was told that we get to participate in a Junior High tournament and a chance at nationals! So we are going to be practicing a lot more than what we are!"

Everyone was excited when they heard that. All except one person. That being Y/N. She wasn't sure she was cut out in being able to do well.

Despite her thinking she was doing really good, they were on their final match against  Shiratorizawa Junior High they were 2 - 2. Shiratorizawa was at set point 35 - 34. The ace of their team spiked down the ball. Y/N was going to dig the ball.

Everything was going good. . .until that one life changing moment.

Y/N had no idea what was going on but she couldn't move. Everyone on her team watched as she just kneeled there on the floor. It wasn't until the ball hit the floor that she felt the excruciating pain in her right knee.

Everyone was horrified by the scream of the small girl, that doesn't usually make any sound unless speaking to Lisa. It sounded as if someone killed her perents in front of her whilst being stabbed. Everyone just thought it was because she failed to get the ball. Not something that would change her life forever. . .

-time skip-
Once everyone got back to their gym Lisa immediately turns to her best friend. "What the hell was that?! Why didn't you move?! You could have gotten that!"

Nancy, another player started yelling too. "Yeah! What the hell is your problem?! It's not like you couldn't move!" Soon everyone was yelling and degrading her telling her that she should just leave if she didn't care about winning.

Y/N looked up at Lisa. "I-i'm sorry. . ." Lisa scoffed and pushed her back. "I knew I shouldn't have brought you that day." At that moment Y/N's whole world just turned into dust.

Was all she was, is a person to pave them to victory? Y/N left immediately and never went back to the club.

After a couple days she went to the doctor and found out that she dislocated her knee and since she was walking on it, there were some ligaments that snapped and they didn't know how to fix it besides moving the knee back into place.

A year passed and she was playing volleyball by herself and she wasn't paying attention to anyone around her. She got kicked in the back of the knee and hard. She turned around and saw her ex-bestfriend, Lisa. They both heard something snap. "W-what are you doing here?" Lisa scoffed and ruffled her hair in a rough way. "What are you doing here?! I don't want to see your face after the failure that you caused. I don't know why I was ever your friend."

Y/N tried to explain what happened but she wouldn't listen. "I-i couldn't m-move I-" "I don't care! It was your fault we lost!"

Lisa starts to kick Y/N while she was still on the floor. "It was your fault! You useless bitch! Nobody will ever want you on their team! You are so useless! Your family probably hates you!"

They hear someone yelling at her to stop hurting the smaller one and Lisa runs off. The person yelling calls the ambulance seeing how the girls knee looks and how bloody she is. "It's okay hun there is help coming! Try and stay awake for me okay?" Despite the nice lady's words the smaller falls into a sleep.

-time skip-
Y/N wakes up to the sound of a heart monitor and and excruciating pain in her right knee with a small pain in her face and stomach. "W-what. W-where am I?"

I look over to see the same lady and my mum getting up and rushing over to me. "Oh my God baby! You're alright!" My mum starts crying, out of joy and sadness I believe, or she is just a wuss. . . I look over at the lady and see that she is on the shorter-ish side with dark hair. I ask what happened and she says that I was beaten up by a girl with blond hair. Ah yes I remember now. "Thank you so much for helping me Ms. . ." She smiles at me and shakes her head. "Hinata, and it was no problem hun."

I soon found out that I was in a coma for 3 months because of a surgery that I had on my knee. And my knee. . .well it's safe to say that I am 5% robot now. I had to do physical therapy for 4 months because of the difference in balance with my knees. I noticed that mum started getting happier. Which is good, though I don't know the reason behind it. . .

-time skip-
After a year and a half, I still do play volleyball by myself, I just can't do as much. So that's what I'm doing right now. "Y/N sweety! Can you come inside for a second?!" I look over to the front door and see my mum standing in the doorway. I nod my head and rush inside.

"So I'm pretty sure you noticed, but I've been in a better mood lately. But if you are up for it, I was wondering if you would like to move with me to go live with my girlfriend, her son and daughter, in a couple months?"

It took me a while to understand what she said but after I figured it out I immediately brightened up. "Of course! I'm so happy for you mum!" My mother smiled at me "Great! Thank you for agreeing to it!" She hugged me tightly while tearing up a bit. I hugged back and laughed. "Of course mummy!"

*flashback over*

I've realized I've picked up Lisa's habit. . .huh. I guess she was a bigger influence on me than I thought. . .
