Chapter G

Sorry for making you guys wait! I've been trying to figure out how to write the chapter after this one, so far I have no luck but I will make it good I promise!! Anyways! On to the story~

As we walk in I catch sight of my cousin shaking hands with our da- I mean captain and light up "Tetsu!" I watch as he looks over to me running at him in surprise. I mean I'm the only one who calls him that. "F/N/N?!" (family nickname) I tackle him into a bear hug whilst laughing "F/N/N! What are you doing here?!" "Me and mum moved in with her girlfriend, now I have a new brother and sister! My new brother is on the team, so I joined to look out for him and possibly play a little!" He looks at me with a giant smile "I'm so happy you decided to get back into the volleyball scene, even with what happened! You're an amazing player!" I laugh and get off of my awesome cousin "Well I had to come back one day, even if it means not playing as much anymore. I can't really escape volleyball no matter how hard I try!" Pudding walks over to us with a small smile. "Long time no see N/N." I smile and hug him tight. "Heya Pudding! I've missed you!" He smiles and nods. I know that's his way of saying he feels the same. We heard a cough and turn to see my brother along with everyone else staring at us in confusion and awe at the same time. "Haha. u-uh sorry, I guess I got a bit excited." And of course everyone starts yelling in confusion. But Tetsu is fast in shutting everyone up, "Hey! Calm down. F/N/N isn't good with a lot of yelling!" He waits a bit for everyone to settle down a little. "Now. I know you have questions but let us talk first please." Tetsu looks over at me and urges me to talk first. Oh, how gentlemen like, leaving the explaining to me. "So. First of all you are probably wondering why we all know eachother. Well for starters, Tetsu is my amazing cousin! I met Kenma through Tetsu from when we were really young. Sorry for not telling any of you, I wanted it to be a surprise" I give them all a close eye smile. They all say its ok and we talk for a bit. Shou talked to me the most, he was kind of angry I didn't tell him but he got over it after a while.

Time for the Cats vs. Crows rematch! I know all about the Cats vs. Crows because my father used to be on the Nekoma team, I got to see recordings of the matches, that's how I learned the basics of volleyball. When dad was still with us, he always brought me to see Coach Nekomata, he would even coach me a bit. But sadly after dad left I didn't get to see him as often. I'll have to go talk to him before the matches start! "Coach Neko!" He turns around to see me walking towards him and smile really bright. "Y/N! I haven't seen you in ages! How are you? You look great, you're starting to become a young adult!" I smile back just as bright. "I'm great! And it has been a while hasn't it?" "Are you still playing volleyball? I heard about what happened so if you don't I'll be angry! You shouldn't be moping around, you have really good talent. You should be using it!" I chuckle and pat him on his shoulder "Well I'm here right now aren't I? And there is no way I would just stop playing volleyball because of that. I love volleyball with all of my heart!" Coach Neko smiles and pats my shoulder. Coach Ukai looks over kind of surprised "Do you know him L/N?" I look over and smile, "Yup! Coach Neko used to train me because my dad used to be on the Nekoma team, so he had me meet him! He obviously liked me so he coached me!" Nekomata looks over to me before speaking, "Speaking of. Since you are my favourite pupil, would you like to join in one of the games today? I'd love to see you play again." Ukai looks shocked for a moment before agreeing with Nekomata, "Yes, I would also like to see you play. Seeing as I've never seen you play before and that this geezer over here coached you, saying you're his favourite." You look between both of their faces before smiling the brightest you've ever smiled, "I would love to! Though I'm a Libero so I'd have to switch out with Nishi if he's okay with it." Seeming to come out of nowhere, Nishinoya runs up, "I wouldn't mind Y/N! I'd like to see how great you play!" You look over at him in shock. "A-are you sure? You wouldn't be able to play. . ." He smiles wide not even faltering a bit "That's okay! I want to see you play!" You notice that your cheeks heat up a little bit before smiling and playing it off "Okay! I'll try my best to not let down your expectations!" He jumps up really high announcing that I was going to play instead of him. Okay I guess I'm playing earlier than I thought. You turn to the coaches and thank them before going to get changed in your volleyball uniform. Good thing I bring this everywhere with me. . .
