So it had begun.
"Did you see Yuki today? I bet she got implants. None of her looks real!"
"The guy I'm seeing says he's going to leave his wife for me! How exciting!"
"Did you see that guy? The one that just passed? How is it legal to be that hot?!'
"My mother won't let me buy new clothes for my date today. She's the worst."
Another day.
Another tiresome day in this dreadful world.
Another day listening to the chatter of people complaining about how hard their lives were.
He got it. He really did, life sucks. But every once and a while you need to be able to take a step back from your little bubble and look at what was happening in the world. Look at the big picture and put everything in perspective.
It's a hard thing to do. To be able to look at the world around you and not feel as though you and your problems were insignificant. To be able to return to your small world and continue living, just with a slightly different understanding of who you are.

Walking around the airport, he cringes on the inside thinking about going to a new school. He'd been living in Brazil for two years now, and he thought it was about time he returned to his family.
For the first time in what felt like forever, he walked on Japanese soil, breathing in the air of Miyagi.
His sharp eyes, searched through the crowd, scanning, his brain processing stats and general information from the public around him.
That was his life, the constant need to process all the data around him. Observing the people around him with terrifying accuracy.
What he doesn't realize however, is that he's not that unnoticeable himself.
He gets stares and comments from all genders when he walks in public. He knows how to deal with those kinds of things though, he knows how to dodge questions and skirt around answers like a pro.
"Hey can I have your number?"
"Hey daddy, wanna meet me in the washrooms"
Half the time he honestly thought they were joking, but as they continued to look at him, expecting an answer, he simply stared back and said,
"No."
He was after all, a genius. (and a little bit of a bad bitch)
What he was soon to realize as well, was that he was also an emperor. (My god I'm cheesy as fuck😔, that was hard to write)

He walked to the centre of the terminal and immediately spotted the large "TOMURA KATSUKI" sign his little brother had in his small hands.
He smiled a little and laughed, his brother was on his father's shoulders and his mother was behind them scolding them, ready to catch the small boy as he wiggled on his perch.
That all stopped as soon as Katsuki was in view. As soon as his family had seen him nothing could stop them.
"Nii-chan's back! Nii-chan's back!" His little brother chants as he flies off his father's shoulder and sprinted as fast as his tiny legs could take him.
"Hey Sushi," he said with a grin, not moving an inch when his brother launched into his arms with a force that would cause most stumble. "I know you missed me but you gotta be careful in an airport, there are other people around."
Said other people were now looking at the scene with heart eyes and 'awww's that were barely being held back.
There were also a select holding their noses, frantically trying to stop a nose bleed while looking at the handsome stranger.
"I MISSED YOU NII-CHAN! I STARTED PLAYING VOLLEYBALL! I WANNA BE A SETTER SO I CAN SET TO YOU! I ALSO MADE A NEW FRIEND, HIS NAME IS TAKERU AND-"
"Alright Atsushi, calm down. Katsuki just got off a 10 hour flight and he's probably tired." Tomura Akemi, Katsuki's father states with a small sigh, addressing Atsushi, my now 4 year old little brother. "Hey son, how was you flight? We haven't seen you in 2 years and your dear old parents don't even get hugs?!"
"Come here then old man, don't make me walk all the way to you", Katsuki says with a smirk. Katsuki placed his brother on his shoulders and continued looking at his father.
"You're literally three steps away..."
"Well that's three steps I don't want to walk."
"Get over here you brat! Jeez, after all this time your still my lazy little boy." His wonderful mother Tomura Aiko walks forward, pulling him into a hug. "And to think you're a national athlete! What happened to exercise?!"
"I feel the need to exercise is not a necessity as I'm already awesome, but go off I guess." Katsuki looked at his parents with a shit eating grin. "And I do hope I haven't missed much, also I literally called everyday. It's not like you haven't seen me at all-"
"Just give us a fu- fracking hug! Honestly I don't know where you got your attitude," Aiko rants, stuttering slightly remembering the presence of their youngest family member, as she pulled him into a strong hug.
Katsuki looks at his dad with both brows raised in a silent agreement that said attitude came directly from his mother.
"Anyways we should head home now, go get your luggage and we'll head to the car."
Katsuki followed his dad's instructions and gets everything he needs, walking to their Black Tahoe with his small sibling still on his shoulders. He had been surprisingly quiet, and Katsuki soon realized that his 'lil Sushi had fallen asleep. It was 12.45am so he was surprised he had lasted as long as he had.

As Katsuki laid in his bed for the first time in 2 years, he starts thinking about his parent's question.
What school would he go to?
Karasuno?
Aoba Josai?
Shiratorizawa?
There were other schools of course but none in his area.
He decided to follow in his parents footsteps, they had gone to Karasuno when they were his age. His mother on the girls volleyball team, and his father on the soccer team. Katsuki had wanted to be just like his mother growing up, she was awesome. So strong and independant. He, to this day, still looks up to her (and his father of course), a great deal.
