On Saturday, the next day, the girls had changed into their white top, black shit, house tie, and robe, then headed down to the Great Hall. The sun had barely risen only about an hour ago, but by the sounds coming from the Entrance Hall- everyone was already up.
"Morning ladies!" Fred, George, and Lee Jordan called from right next to them. "Oh, hey guys." The girls waved to them. Jada noticed a wicked grin on the three of them, she usually would just push this off, but since the whole Tournament thing, "What did you three do?"
The boys looked at her. "Nothing!" Fred raised his hand in the air. "Nothing of the sort." George looked away. "I feel betrayed that you have asked such a question!" Lee put a hand over his chest, signifying a knife over his heart. After the three did that, they laughed, "We did it." Whispered Fred.
"Sorry?" Noemi leaned her head in. "The Aging Potion!" Added George, he rubbed his hands together in full glee. "You dimwits, that won't work." Ritisha rolled her eyes. "Oh come off it, come watch and see." The twins and Lee Jordan ran into the hall. "They are so stupid." Sighed Caylin, face planting herself into her palms. "Might as go watch, come on."
They made their way into the Entrance Hall which was full of the three schools, and where the sorting hat usually sat, stood the Goblet of Fire. Fred and George were chatting up Harry Potter at the moment, so the B.B took the moment to find a seat together. "Any news on Cedric putting his name in?" Ritisha asked. "Yeah, he's doing it this morning." Responded Noemi.
Sam nudged them both, and they looked up to see the twins standing before the Age-Line drawn by Professor Dumbledore himself. "Well, here goes nothing." Mumbled Jada.
Fred and George uncorked the potion, all eyes in the hall were on them.
"Ready, Fred?"
"Ready, George?"
They hooked arms, "Bottoms up!" and took the whole potion into their mouth. Drinking every last drop. The twins threw the vial to the side and jumped inside the Age-Line without getting kicked out. Caylin and Jada, who were laying their heads onto their hands lifted their forefront up. "Well, I'll be damned." They both said in almost a laugh.
Fred and George threw their names into the Goblet followed by a "Yeah!" from both of them. The girls and the other Hogwarts students began clapping. But, before they could properly celebrate, a loud sizzle came from the Goblet and kicked them back on the hard floor. Students began laughing from all schools, the twins got up from the floor and found themselves with a long beard. Lee left from where he was sitting next to Jada, and ran to his friends.
"Well, that sure was interesting." Noemi laughed.
A few minutes later, Cedric came walking in with his entourage. Noemi stood up and excused herself from the group. She ran to her friend, which took quite some effort since there was so many people surrounding him. She tapped his shoulder and got his attention. "Ced, I promise I won't tell you to not put your name in." She said, "I'm just here to wish you luck. I-I hope you get in. Really, I do."
Cedric smiled and gave her a hug. "Thanks, Noemi. You know I wasn't going to put my name in, but since you told me it was fine..." "Really?!" "Nah." "You jerk!" They both laughed, and turned to face the Goblet. "Well, watcha waiting for? Put your name in." Noemi gave him a shove, along with some other students. He chuckled and walked forward. He went through the age-line, perfectly fine since he was seventeen already. Noemi made a 'go on!' hand movement to him, and watched as he tossed his 'Cedric Diggory- Hogwarts' parchment into the Goblet. After it burnt up and disappeared with no sign of him growing a beard, Cedric turned and walked out.
He gave high-fives to everyone that came his way, Noemi noticed that Ron Weasley had tried to give him a high-five, but Cedric didn't notice. She laughed when Ron pretended to be itching his head, and not like he was just ignored by Cedric.
