Your eyes lazily opened to see Rin and Yukio standing beside your bed, Rin was holding a plate of eggs...his second batch.. you remembered the last time you ate them and almost threw up.
"Nooooo, no more eggssss my tummy can't handle itttt." You whined
"Fine I guess I'll just have to eat them myself then." Your Dad stalked in with his usual goofy grin on his face. You giggled
"All you dad"
He soon scarfed them all down in one bite, falling after swallowing, coughing.
"I think I 'COUGH' swallowed 'COUGH COUGH' a shell" he hacked out
"AAAAAAAAAH" the three of you squealed
"Hey hey hey, I'm ok." He said putting a thumb up still trying to choke out the shell on the ground.

That was one of the scariest parts in your childhood, Or when Rin went berserk at school, attacked a kid and broke dads ribs. But now you can all just laugh. Not now though.

Before your eyes you watched as your dad stab himself in the chest after igniting in blue flames. You couldn't process anything else going on around you. All you could hear was the sound of you screaming. He started to sink down into a pool of heads, Rin then lit on fire as well the blue flames taking your breath away. Everything went to dark after that point.

You woke back up in your bed. Yukio standing over you tending to your wounds. He was softly crying till he saw your eyes watching him.
"w-" is all you could say before feeling immense pain in your throat.
"Don't talk. It'll just strain your vocal cords more." He softly said. You just lightly nodded
"Are you wounds hurting you?" He asked
You shook your head signaling no
"Ok, good. Would you...like to go visit dad with me..." he asked bitting his lip trying not to start crying
You rouse your eyebrow confused as to what he meant. 'Why couldn't he come to me..?'
"Here.. im going to go get changed.. get into something nice, ok?" He said you nodded. You started to get a pounding headache something trying to creep it's way back into your memory, it was staticky, you just remember the blue.
'Wonder what that's about...'
You changed into one of your best dress shirt and nice pants. Opening your door you walked out to meet Yukio who was holding a dry erase board and marker
"Here, just write on this if you need anything." He weakly smiled, his eyes puffy, looked like he'd been crying. You did a thumbs up winking and smiling, this got a small chuckle out of him.

-where are we going- you wrote as you left the church, Yukio stayed silent.
-??????- you frantically wrote, this still achieved no hints.
Up ahead you saw a small gathering of people at the grave yard
-we should pray for them :,(- you wrote looking at Yukio sadly. As we gradually got to the gate he started to turn, your eyes widened as you pulled him back aggressively
-WHATS GOING ON YUKIO- you wrote panicked, at this point tears were streaming down his face.

"Y/N HES DEAD. YOU SAW IT!!! HOW DO YOU NOT REMEMBER. HE DIED TWO DAYS AGO." He exploded in anger, you cowered and felt like you were suddenly reliving everything from that night as you saw satan possess dad and Rin become a demon. Your eyes widened as tears gushed out of your eyes.

It's been a week since then. You and Rin had been living at the church while Yukio was at some prestigious school. As you lounged around your room, Rin barged in telling you to come outside and that someone wanted to see us
'Who?' You wondered
A pink limo was out front, we were rushed inside to be greeted by some guy.
"Hello~ the names Mephisto." The goofy man introduced himself.
"Uh...I'm Y/n..." you said confused

After being in the car for a while as he rambled on about something. You didn't pay attention as you looked at the massive town.
"This is true cross academy!" He shouted enthusiastically.
"Wow" you said your face pressed to the wind trying to see the top of the building.
"Rin, Y/n. I will be showing you around. then Y/n I'll need you in my office. The two of you will be going to the cram school." He said excitedly
"What's that?" You asked
"Why I'm glad you asked! It's a school for exorcists in training~" he looked at me amused
"...oh...nice? So why would we be going?" You asked confused
"Oh you'll know soon enough." He smirked creepily sending shiveres down your spin.
The car stopped, commencing the tour. It was gigantic.

After we were shown around Rin went off on his own to explore and you followed mephistos...dog?? "Alright Y/n." The dog spoke
"AAHHH" you said kicking it
"OW, Y/n I am Mephisto!" He yelled
"HOW?!!!?" You screeched
"Ugh." He frowned turning back to his human form once we got to his office.
"Sit down. I will do something." He said sitting you on the plush expensive chair, soon after he placed his hands over your eyes
"Let the devine go unbeknownst and let the beautiful see the truth." He recited, your eyes slowly opened as you saw black cat looking things smuggling you. It felt oddly familiar and comforting...
