FIVE MONTHS AGO

In Midtown Highschool of Science and Technology, a messy haired teenager was sat in the canteen. Peter Parker was still aching from his fight with Dr Curtis Conners from a few nights ago. He remembered the words Captain George Stacy told him about leaving his daughter out of his life. What he also wanted to know was who the women in red who saved him was, as he never saw her face.

As Peter respected the man, he respected his wish. Before school started, he and Gwen had a fight and he told her that he was doing what her dad asked him. He was that lost in thought, he didn't see his best friend for the last five years, Ben Tennyon sit by him.

"Hey Pete. How you holding up?" He asked him.

"Still aching, but give it another day, I'll be fine." Peter told him. When suddenly his enhanced senses went berserk. He looked up and saw a girl around his age dressed in a baige coat, with a black top and black skinny jeans with a pair of black boots.

"When did we get a new student?" He asked Ben.

"Today. Don't know anything about her. Flash tried hitting on her and he ended up getting a black eye and a broken nose. He'd never admit who it was." Ben laughed.

"For some reason, my senses are going berserk. It was the same when that girl in red saved me from falling off the OsCorp building." Peter said.

"It's probably nothing. I'd say your just on edge Pete." Ben said.

"Yeah, probably." Peter replied. "Got that meeting after school."

"Yeah, should be go. I'll see you after school. Meet me at the Rustbucket." Ben said picking up his bag and walking away. Peter laughed as he tucked into his peanut butter and jam sandwich.

He was unaware that the new girl, had been watching him, with a knowing look on her face.

Later, when school had finished. Peter was at his locker sending a text to his Aunt May explaining he'll be late for dinner and to put his dinner in the oven. He had gabbed his hoodie, not seeing someone walk up to him.

"Hi." An accented voice said. Peter closed his locker and came face to face with the new girl. He did wonder why she was talking to him.

"Um, hey." Peter nervously said. He didn't know why he was acting like this. He even looked around the hall, wondering if she was speaking to the wrong person. "Are you...talking to me?"

The new girl looked at him, an eyebrow raised. "Yes."

Peter turns and looks at her. A little bit sheepishly. "Um, okay."

"You've been staring at me since lunch...and y'know...it's kinda creepy." She told him and Peter felt heat rise to his face.

"I'm sorry." Peter scratched the back of his head in embarrassment."

"Hi sorry. I'm Wanda." The new girl told him. Peter stared at her with a small smile from her sarcasm. "I'm joking.

"I thought your name was Wanda?" He joked. Wanda couldn't help but giggle a bit as she tucked some of her hair behind her ear. "Okay, let's start over. I'm Peter. Peter Parker."

Wanda smiled at him and shook his hand. "Wanda Maximoff." She replied.

Peter quickly went into his bag and pulled out a piece of paper and started to write down on it. "I'd love to stay and chat, but I've got to meet a friend as we both have an interview. But here's my number, feel free to message me whenever you like." He told her as he gave her the piece of paper.

"Will do. Hope your interview goes well." Wanda said to him.

Peter smiled as he shook her hand again. "See you around. Take care Wanda." He said as he quickly made his way out the school. Leaving a smiling Wanda.
