gaara pov:

i watched rocklee leave from the window. i yawned and got dressed getting ready to head home and await lee's arrival. as i was getting my shoes on i heard the door open to my surprise lee came home early "turns out tsunade wanted me to escort you home" lee said with a smile. "that's great we need to talk anyways" i formed two sand clouds for both me and lee to ride on instead of running. "were not in a rush so we can take as long as we need to get there" i said to him and we headed east of the sand village.

"hey this isn't the way to the sand.." lee said looking around confused. "just wait until we get to where i want to go to first" i said looking forward at the sun.

an hour or so went by with no talking. "is there anything you want to tell me before we get to our destination" i asked looking at him. he shook his head. we finally made it to a beautiful sakura tree with a bench under a nice shade. i got off the sand cloud and offered a hand to lee whom refused to hold my hand and got down by himself. didn't make me happy at all. i pulled him over to the tree and stood infront of him.

the wind was blowing my hair out my eyes and lee just stared at me "you look beautiful.." he said smiling. "and you look handsome" i replied back. i carefully got down on one knee looking up at lee. "is this what i think it is?" lee asked smiling. "lee will you be my one and only husband?" i asked holding up a sand ring with diamonds. he smiled and jumped around like a little girl "yes i will!" lee smiled and kissed me tackling me to the floor. his strong arms holding me made me feel untouchable. we ahem did the thing ahem under the sakura tree i smiled and kissed him a bunch.

"i'll escort you home now" he smiled. now we held hands sometimes he'd hold me like a bride because my legs would hurt while we traveled. i still can push myself to walk on my own but he basically insisted on me being held. i'm okay with it. he was charming and sometimes sweaty because of how hard he works. he brought me home to the office so i could get started on work. "gaara how would i see you more?" lee asked me when he sat me down at my table.

"i'll have you transferred here as a sand ninja" i said as i fiddled with papers and pens. "but my friends?" i looked back at him "you can visit home whenever you want i won't force you to stay near" i said calmly and handed him transfer papers i had signed. he smiled and hugged me laughing "i'll go deliver this to tsunade!" he turned about to leave but my sand had grabbed him. "maybe you could leave tomorrow?" i asked he nodded and sat back down nearby watching me work.

-present time-

"i love that sweaty lee now that we're married, i wouldn't want anything to change" i said looking down at my children. "what an embarrassing love story to tell them" lee hugged me "now then shinki, metal. go have dinner i don't want it to get cold i have work tomorrow so i'm going to bed" i kissed lee and went up to our room.

shinkis pov:

i wonder if my dads love story would be like mine if i ever find someone? i looked over at metal whom was eating like a pig. "metal would i find someone just like dad did?" i asked staring at my food. "i believe so your too lovable to be denied as a lover" he said to me i stared at my reflection in my soup. "huh i guess your right"
