I woke up to the smell of pancakes. At first I thought I was going crazy then I realized I was at Cameron's still. I quickly got my phone and checked it. There were some texts from my mom and she was being really nice. I was amazed to see stuff like 'Hi honey wondering when you will be getting home' and 'I'm real worried sweetie so text me when you see these'. I decided to text back. 'Sorry I fell asleep at a friends be home soon'. I then heard someone coming upstairs. Someone knocked.
"C-come in" I said. I saw a very pretty girl walk in.
"Hi" She said. I smiled at her.
"Uhm Hi I'm Jewel" I said.
"Sierra, Cam's sister" She said. I nodded then smiled at her.
"I brought you some old cloths of mine that should fit for you" She said. I looked at her no one ever did anything this nice for me.
"Thank you" I said. She smiled and nodded then walked out. Soon Cameron walked in.
"Good morning how did you sleep?" He said sitting on the bed.
"Great" I answered.
"Yeah I bet since you took my bed" He said sarcastically. I pushed him.
"Hey you offered it I wasn't going to pass it up" I said. He laughed then shoved me back. I laughed and flopped on my back. I could see the slight smile forming on his face. He poked my side and I flinched. I was way to ticklish. He saw and I knew this wouldn't end good. I sat up and he tickled me a little bit. I laughed then hopped of the bed.
"What?" He asked with a smirk.
"Cameron I'm ticklish" I said. He smiled then crawled over the bed to me.
"Cameron no" I said backing away slightly. He chuckled and I started running as he chased after me.
"Cameron!" I said as he picked me up from behind. I laughed as he carried me to the bed and threw me on it. He looked at me.
"Get dressed breakfast will be ready soon" He said before disappearing down the hall. I smiled I for once in my life started to open up again.
Cameron's P.O.V:
I really liked Jewel. I was going to get her to be her spontaneous self again. I sat down at the counter as my mom kept making her pancakes."So you like this Jewel girl don't you?" She said giving me the look. The look of don't hide it Cameron I know you do.
"Yeah she is something different. She sees the world and I I just don't know how to explain she sees the world and sees how she could make it better instead of picking out its flaws, you know what I mean?" I said. She smiled at me.
"Is she a reader?" She asked. I nodded.
"They are the ones who keep our world from turning into a crazy rampage. She is special don't loose her" She said. I bit one side of my cheek and my mom knew there was something wrong.
"Is there something wrong honey?" She asked.
"She used to be super fun and crazy then her dad died and her mom started abusing her so she is quiet now. The only person she really opens up to is me" I said. My mom frowned. She was about to say something then Jewel walked down the stairs in some light blue skinny jeans and a white lace tank top. I smiled at her and so did my mom.
"Hi sweetie you hungry?" My mom asked. She smiled back and nodded. She looked beautiful I thought she was amazing. She sat down and ate.
"I better be getting home" She said. My mother nodded and Jewel thanked her for letting her stay.
