Chapter 11

/Mattias' p.o.v:

Ivory basically ran out of the apartment building after Pearl said bye to me. I tried so hard not to laugh but I couldn't help it. Emilia Rossi is Lukas' sister is definitely a character and it was exactly a like her to barge into his apartment. I told him not to give her a spare key. I walked over to his apartment to see them mid-way through a shouting match. They both had fiery orange hair and the same blue eyes if it wasn't for their height difference, they could have been twins. They both turned to look at me as I cleared my throat. Emilia ran up to me squeezing me tightly, she was like a little sister to me and she had recently left for college I hadn't seen her for a few months. I ruffled her hair and she glared playfully.

"How you been carrot top" she playfully punched my arm.

"Just fine shit head" I rolled my eyes and looked towards a stressed looking Lukas. He looked back at me annoyed and I just shrugged my shoulders

"I told you not to give her a spare key" they both glared at me and I put my hands up in surrender. I spent some time with Emilia and Lukas until I had to go to the office, I gave Lukas the day off and my workday was far quieter, and I wouldn't admit it to him but also a little boring.

Pearls p.o.v:

After seeing Mattias for a couple of hours yesterday Ivory dragged me home and I realised what she meant when Lukas' sister walked in on her. They were doing the nasty which meant that they liked each other. Ivory spent most of the day in her bed embarrassed. Apparently, his sister not only walked in on them but then introduced herself while keeping direct eye contact. Her phone went off constantly and she ignored him until I answered for her then ran away. Jackson was in a good mood again and we watched some tv together, he could be quite good company.

The next morning, I woke up early to a message from my Matze.

Matze: good morning darling, you busy today?

Me: I don't think so, why?

I looked out the window to see it raining, I pouted that meant we couldn't go to our park.

Matze: well we could watch some films together

I remembered when we 'watched tv' together yesterday and I felt my cheeks heat up.

Me: I'd like that, I'll come over in a couple of hours if that's okay

Matze: I'd love that

I smiled and got out of bed. I had a shower and brushed my teeth, I looked in my closet it was a daily struggle to pick an outfit. After a while of aimlessly looking the options I settled with a white tennis skirt and large jumper with my favourite white sandals. I grabbed a small black backpack and put my phone and lip balm in it, all the essentials. I went to opals office and knocked she shouted a small come in and I saw her typing away on her laptop.

"Heyyyyy Opal, my favourite ever sister" she looked up at me and raised her eyebrows.

"What do you want Pearl" I smiled at her brightly

"Welllllll, I'm going out with Mattias and I just thought you should know" I rushed it all out and looked at her hopefully. She laughed.

"Try it slower doll" I repeated it slower and her face fell.

"You're not going out with him"

"Excuse me" oh jeez. I didn't mean to say that.

"You heard Pearl you are not going out with Mattias Sterling" I was shocked. She had no reason not to like Mattias he was always polite and sweet.
