Red dust and sand blew everywhere. Hot sunlight made Catra's fur tingle and she glared at this waste land she'd been dragged to. And for what? A junky space ship that was gonna tell them about some old magical crap?

"Isn't this so exciting?" Bow gushed. "We're going to see more first one's tech!"

Glimmer smiled weakly. "Bow, we have to find the ship first. And with that gadget of yours we might be looking for a while."

"Hey, I worked hard on this!  Give it time. This little guy's gonna take us there."

Catra snorted. Whatever. She'd just follow besides them and how nothing to crazy happened. As they walked she took the time to study her mask. She was still getting used to the magic it possessed. Maybe if she could master it she could stop Adora from running after Shadow Weaver.

But it's more than that. Her thoughts betrayed her. Is this really about Shadow Weaver? She seems to always be chasing power. Is it because of me? When she wanted us to just leave together...

She shook her head. There was no point  of thinking about it now. When she saw her again she wouldn't hold back again. She'd leave with her. Forget Bright Moon or the Fright Zone. They'd run away together. They would be...happy.

"Bow, you'd better hurry up." Catra muttered. "This place is hideous and my feet burn."

They wondered around for what felt like hours. To be honest she was beginning to doubt there was anything out there. Hordak always made it seem like it was a barren waste land. So she was surprised when she saw a tavern. They went inside and instantly she regretted it.

Cause the inhabitants weren't exactly friendly.

Thieves and bandits. Scum ready to cheat, steal, and lie. Ruffians who would probably sell them out in a heartbeat. She sighed, and tugged her companions closer.

"Listen up, softies." She snorted. "Stick close to me and don't do anything crazy."

Bow and Glimmer smiled up at her. She didn't realize it, but she was hugging them really closely, and she looked fiercely protective. She guided them along like little children and they caused quite a scene as they strode forward. She did her best to keep them from trouble, but Bow's gadget thingy went off, and all eyes went to them.

Particularly a lizard woman and a goat lady. They blocked their path and Catra looked on, bored. "What? Are you stupid or do think pathways are meant to be blocked?"

"We don't like outsiders around here."

She rolled her eyes. "And I don't like casual conversations. Seems we both have our hang ups. But unless you want to end up dead, I suggest you step aside."

Goat lady and lizard woman didn't seem to get the message. Catra smiled, flashing her teeth. Okay. She leapt and kicked the lizard woman across the room into the wall. And a fight broke out. Glimmer teleported prepared, and Bow reached for an arrow when a single punch in the wall reverberated through the area silencing them all.

"Who is making all this noise?"

Catra let go of the goat woman, and strong foot steps crossed the floor. Catra paused, surveying a rather tall woman's shadow casting over her. She paused for a second in pure amazement. This strong purple built goddess bared down upon them.

"What are a couple of kids doing here?"

Catra blinked. Alright. She was over it. "What's it to you?"

"Huh, you've got guts."

"And you've got seconds to answer my question. Do you know where Mara's ship is?"
