Short Introduction
Hello! Welcome to "The Sunflower". This is an "Agents of SHIELD" fanfiction that will be updated no less than once a week. Constructive criticism is greatly appreciated as I know that writing is always a work in progress and I want to get better for you guys as the story goes on. All original characters and storylines are my own and therefore kindly do not steal them. Any similarities to other books is purely coincidence and in no way intended, but if you find anything that makes you uncomfortable (Both in similarities to other content or generally in statements, implications, etc. made) I would be more than happy to discuss it with you in private. Like I said, I want everyone to enjoy this book as much as possible!
Trigger Warnings
Along with the violence, gore, and some dark themes already in the original show, this fanfic will contain additional material that may be triggering. Although none of it takes place at the time of the story, there will be themes of domestic abuse (both verbal and physical) as well as drug and alcohol abuse. Most of this is not talked about in great detail, but there will be one or two flashbacks that depict one or more of these topics. I will try my best to not make the depictions of these extremely graphic. There are also themes of PTSD and depictions of panic/anxiety attacks. If any of these things trigger you or even make you uncomfortable I would reconsider reading. There is no shame in knowing your limits. BUT if you still want to read and are a bit uneasy, there will be an A/N before chapters that contain any triggering material telling you what to expect. At the end of said chapters I will give a brief overview of what you missed and need to know for the rest of the book. If I miss any warnings please DO tell me.
Thank you for giving this book a chance, even just clicking on it means a lot to me. I hope you enjoy!
