The next morning, Mattia had slowly waken up to the sound of his loud alarm and realized Kairi was still in his arms. He came to a quick realization that they had slept together and he sighed. It all happened so fast but he didn't regret it. In fact, he loved it.
Mattia slowly sat up and got ready for school waking Kairi up so he could get ready. He knew he didn't like waking up in the morning but he also had no choice.
M: "Hey.. Kai. C'mon. It's time for school. Wake up.."
Kairi groaned loudly and tossed the other way pulling the blankets over him so he wouldn't bother him anymore. Mattia rolled his eyes and pulled the blanket then grabbed Kairi's ankles and yanked him out of bed.
M: "I didn't want to do that but we have to go! We're going to be late!"
Kairi fell onto the floor from getting yanked and sat up hitting on Mattia's legs when he grew into a ball of angry since he was woken up so early.
K: "HEY! THAT HURT! YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO YANK ME OUT OF BED LIKE THAT! GO AWAY!"
He screamed as he usually had his morning fit like this almost everyday. Mattia sighed being used to it and watched him get ready then rubbed onto his body where he had fell. Kairi got up then started putting on his clothes for school.
Mattia dragged Kairi out of the house and into the car as he began to drive to school.
M: "I know you don't like school but we have to go. There's only a few more years left and we'll graduate. Okay? Jeez boy!"
Mattia rolled his eyes as he watched Kairi fall asleep in the passenger side. He gave up since he knew there was no fighting this stubborn boy, he would just have to carry him. Mattia arrived at school and got out, grabbing his and Kairi's bag then picking him up and throwing him over his shoulder while he was sleeping.
Mattia waved to Alejandro as he saw him and smiled brightly beginning to laugh.
M: "Hey Alejandro! Wait up! How are you bro?!"
Alejandro chest bumped him and then did a handshake with him. He noticed Kairi slung over Mattia's shoulder and he raised his eyebrow with a slight but confused laugh.
Ale: "I'm good! Dude.. What's up with Kairi? He looks uhh.. dead."
Mattia laughed it off then shook his head. He didn't dare tell him anything even if he was his closest friend. Alejandro always suspected things were going on between the two of them since they were so oddly close everyday. His suspicions grew as he was slowly putting together the pieces of the puzzle. Alejandro could see right through Mattia's lies. He knew him almost just as much as Kairi did, he also knew about his shitty reputation of lying.
M: "Oh nothing. He's just tired from last night. We stayed up late playing video games. I'm sure he's perfectly fine."
Ale: "Uh-huh. Right. You have fun with that one."
Mattia, Alejandro and Kairi all had first period together so that's where they headed to. It was Spanish II. Alejandro didn't know what had happened between Mattia and Kairi the previous night but Mattia sure didn't plan to tell him or anyone at that matter. He didn't want anyone to know he could possibly be bisexual or even gay. He felt he would be judged and disliked more than he already was.
They all arrived in Spanish and Mattia set down Kairi in his seat watching him wake up. The first bell rung and class had finally started. They all had dreaded this class the most.
