Kairi had waken up from his sleep the next morning and slowly rubbed his eyes only to find himself wrapped up in Mattia's arms. He was confused due to remembering the night before when he wasn't answering his texts or calls. He wanted to know why and how he ended up in his bed. He looked down at sleeping Mattia then gasped loudly when he saw his clearly visible black eye and he backed up quickly pushing himself off his chest due to him being slightly frightened and taken aback.
K: "Mattia! What the fuck! Wake up! What happened to your face?!"
Mattia slightly groaned from the movement and he opened his eyes realizing Kairi had noticed his large black eye that occurred from the night before. He hoped he would wake up before Kairi so he didn't have to see his eye but clearly that didn't go as planned. He had to tell Kairi the truth. The real truth. There was no lying his way out of this one.
M: "Please don't be mad at me Kai.."
K: "What the fuck did you do?!"
M: "I went to a party and a girl approached me then she started dancing on me. I pushed her away and some dude saw then threw himself onto me. We got into a fight but I don't remember much because I was so wasted.. I'm so sorry Kairi."
Kairi already knew what to expect from Mattia, he always like this so it was no different. He always involved himself with girls just to hide any sign of him being bisexual or even gay. Kairi started to get tears in his eyes but he blinked them away fast because he didn't want Mattia to see him weak. The short boy just stared at Mattia for a second not even knowing what to say but he gathered his thoughts quickly. He wanted to scream at him.
K: "YOU STUPID FUCK! YOU COULD'VE GOTTEN SERIOUSLY HURT! DO YOU KNOW THAT?! AND WHY WAS A GIRL DANCING ON YOU WHILE I WAS SOBBING AND WAITING FOR YOUR TEXTS BACK?! HOW COULD YOU? SERIOUSLY?"
Mattia sighed loudly wishing he had never stepped foot into that stupid house but he did and there was no going back now. The boy's words stabbed him like a knife but he pretended that he wasn't hurt by them, he was always good at doing that.
M: "Kairi, I'm really sorry, okay? I didn't hook up with anyone or kiss anyone if that's what you're thinking. I just got into a fight and I had to come to your house to protect you. That's all, okay? Stop being so angry at me.."
Kairi couldn't even believe the words that were coming out of his mouth. He sounded ridiculous and he was so hurt that he didn't even want to speak. He just wanted to go somewhere far away. Far, far away. He didn't even tell Mattia to get out or leave due to his inability to speak. He took the words right out of his mouth. Instead, he just sobbed into his hands hoping Mattia wouldn't try and hug him since that was the last thing he even wanted. He didn't want to be held by someone who kept hurting him. This was the second time Mattia had betrayed Kairi.
Mattia watched as Kairi cried and didn't know what to do. He felt defeated and knew it was his fault that he couldn't help or comfort him. It would only make him more upset.
Mattia's Thoughts Pov: I fucked up again. I hurt Kairi.. I feel so horrible and I just want everything to be okay. I hate it when we argue because my heart feels so empty. I'm not me when I'm without him. He's my soulmate.
Kairi finally collected himself and wiped his tears from his eyes staring over at his computer. He didn't want to cry anymore so he decided to hop on the game to take away the stress from his mind and to avoid Mattia who was still sitting in his bed. He heard a loud ding notification from his Iphone and he checked it to see who it was.
ANONYMOUS: 1 UNREAD MESSAGE
Kairi thought this was insanely weird because he never received anonymous messages, not even a lot of people had access to his phone number. His closest friends were the only people he talked to and he didn't know how anyone else would manage to get his number. He didn't think much of it but he looked at Mattia who wasn't even on his phone. It couldn't have been him.
He opened the message curiously and stared at it for about two minutes. He didn't want Mattia to ask him what he was looking at so he quickly dropped his phone on his desk and stared blankly at his computer screen. Kairi was full of instant shock.
