i was sat in my fathers office,
waiting for him
to talk.
"when you were born, the death
eaters somehow found out."
he started.
"they came to the manor
and killed your
mother, attempting to take you away."
"why?" i asked.
"after your mother refused
to be a death eater anymore,
they claimed that
our first born child
would become a death eater.
i vowed that
we would never had
children, but i couldn't bare
to see your mother so upset about it.
so obviously,
we had you, but decided to
hide you away.
somehow, word got out
and they came
the day you were born
to take you away."
i could see tears forming in his eyes.
"i'm so sorry." i whispered.
"i remember that
they took you before i could stop them.
Bellatrix and Narcissa
were infatuated with you.
they adored you.
i had to go with them
and pretend that i didn't care
about you.
you may think that you
were raised here
at Hogwarts,
but you weren't,
you were raised at Malfoy manor by Narcissa
and young Bellatrix."
(pretend that Bellatrix is much younger
than Andy and Cissy <3)
"Bellatrix raised me?"
i said.
"well not really. she was very young
when you came along,
so Narcissa
had to help until she had
her Draco a few years later."
"what do you mean
very young?"
i asked.
i could've sworn that Bella was much
older than me.
"isn't she like 40?"
i asked as my father picked up a book from
his shelf labelled
'the pure blood family trees.'
"no. she's much younger in fact."
he opened the book to the Black family page
and pointed to Bellatrix's
portrait.
'Bellatrix Lestrange (née Black)'
it read.
'born 1970'
"she's 21?!" i cried.
that made it much less awkward.
"yes, only a few years older than her niece,
Nymphadora. you know,
the Hufflepuff in your
year."
"yeah, the one with
the weird hair."
"i believe that the death eaters
may come for you again,
Clara."
he said, closing the book
so i could no longer
admire
Bella's portrait,
and looking straight at me.
"what do they want with me?"
i whispered.
"they want you to become
one of them,
but you must be the
one to decide."
he said solemnly.
i couldn't believe it. did i want
to become a death eater?
it did mean i could see Bella again.
but she could
push me away further.
"Clara?"
he snapped me
out of my thoughts.
"yes profess- i mean, father?"
i was unsure on what to call him.
"yes, you may call me father, but only in
the office.
the school and classrooms
you must call me professor.
"yes father."
it sounded odd, that word coming
from my mouth.
i had never really said it
before.
"you shall make your decision tomorrow."
i was scared. this isn't something
i had expected to have to decide so
quickly.
"then we shall go to Malfoy
Manor, where you
shall tell them. if we fail
to show up, they'll storm Hogwarts,
and i could lose you again."
once again, tears formed in his eyes.
i didn't want to lose
him either.
"you must leave now Clara, your lessons will
be starting soon."
i nodded and left his office.

"so what did Snape want to talk about?"
Lorna asked as i sat down
in divination.
"just some stuff about my grades."
i shrugged.
she sighed. "you seriously don't want to tell
me anything these days."
"that's not what i meant Lorna, i'll tell you later."
"did he find out about Bellatrix?"
she whispered.
"no, he didn't, thank god.
i didn't really want him knowing i slept
with a woman."
i whispered back, giggling with her.
i could feel someone glaring
at me from behind.
as i turned, i realised it was Nymphadora,
or Tonks as most people
call her.
she quickly looked away
and focused on her work.
"any readings for today?" professor Trelawney
asked, looking round our class.
i hadn't had one in
a while and stuck my hand up.
"ah... miss Beaumont,
now let's see.
i see a tall, dark person.
someone who loves you very dearly.
i see a future between you
two, but they must
push themselves further."
Lorna nudged me and winked.
"this person is
someone who could destroy you.
someone who still loves you.
even after..."
she stopped her sentence abruptly.
"even after what professor?"
i asked.
"it doesn't matter." she said.
i huffed and sunk down into my seat.

after our lesson, Lorna and i
were chatting as usual,
as we walked along to potions.
suddenly, a pair of hands grabbed us
and pulled us
aside.
"what did you say about my aunt?"
it was Tonks.
"i didn't-"
"don't bother, i know you said something."
her hands were placed beside my head
and Lorna was shaking
beside me.
"what happened?"
"she came into my room last night."
Lorna snickered.
i glared at her and she shut up.
"and?"
i shrugged.
Tonks stared right into my soul.
it was obvious she wasn't going
to give up.
"we umm... talked."
she raised an eyebrow.
"you sure?"
"they fucked!"
Lorna whispered excitedly.
"LORNA!" i cried.
"jesus."
Tonks said, she looked so surprised.
"i thought you
didn't care about your aunt."
i said.
she shrugged.
"i don't really, but she's still family so..."
i raised an eyebrow at her.
"well, if you don't mind, i'm going to
potions."
i said, pushing my way
out.
Lorna came running after me.
"why do you think
she was like that?"
she asked.
Tonks was usually a
shy person,
i had never seen her so upfront.
i shrugged.
"i dunno, maybe she
just really cares
about her aunt."
i suggested.
"yeah right, her aunt the psychopath,
the one that abandoned
her mother,
Tonks definitely cares
about the bitch."
i glared at Lorna.
"sorry Clara, i forgot she was your
girlfriend."
she giggled.
"fuck off, she's not my girlfriend."
i said through gritted teeth.
"whatever you say Clara."
she said.
i punched her arm
and she pushed
me back.
"girls! it's time for you two to
be in class, is it not?"
McGonagall's said in her thick accent
from behind us.
we giggled and ran to potions.

。☆✼★━━━━━━━━━━━━★✼☆。

potions was just as boring as expected.
my father had his eyes
on me the whole time, as if
he was expecting me to burst into flames
or something.
"why is Snape giving you the evils?"
Lorna whispered to me.
"no clue."
i lied. there was no way
i was telling Lorna.
"maybe it's something to do with
your grades,
like you said earlier."
"maybe..."
for the rest of the lesson,
i pondered what
it was going to be like at
Malfoy Manor,
the home of the scrawny bleach blonde
haired boy, Draco.
i had heard it was humongous,
and that it was where
the death eater meetings were
held.
well, it was kind
of a rumour, i had heard
Draco and his stupid posse
talking about it.
for some reason, he reminded
me of a ferret.
like, a white, small nosed,
ratty looking creature.
that, was what Draco Malfoy looked like.
he even acted like one.
i wondered if his parents were like that
as well.
i had seen his mother before,
but not his father.
Draco was probably the spitting image
of him, cause he
didn't look like his mother.
i couldn't help but hope Bellatrix was going
to be there.
despite her being a complete
bitch to me afterwards,
i missed her like
crazy, and she was hot as fuck.
i shook my head.
i couldn't be thinking about that.
i needed to focus on
more important things.
like my decision.
did i really want to become a
death eater, just for some stupid woman
i spent the night with?
or did i never see her again
and let the death eaters storm Hogwarts,
the only home i've ever known...
i had no clue...
