The next morning Colt wakes up and trough his sleepy eyes he manages to make out something above his head, two large spherical objects, he pokes them with his finger and noticed a weird softness, he realises his head is on a soft surface as well for some reason, “oh my master you can be rougher with your hands ” Colt's eyes go wide and his brains wakes up as a wave of realisation washes over him, he asks himself “why are her breast on my head and why am I sleeping on her lap????”
Colt bolts up and straightens his clothes before turning around to see Sigdrifa walking towards then with a blue forest lizard on her shoulder, she drops it near the fire and bows to Colt “my lord I see you have awakened, I hunted this animal for us to feast on you need the energy to train and by the look of it, you haven't eaten anything in a while” she points at his body.
“yes, he's looking so thin... ” Eir stands up and walks towards Colt she brings her face close to Colt and smirks at him “don't worry I'll help my master regain those muscles...”
with a pop sound, Kassandra appears and twirls her dress “gooooood morning my lord how can I help you today?”
Colt can't stop thinking of why would such powerful beings follow his orders, “these three have such a powerful aura to them… how powerful are they... ” Colt looks at Kassandra who's using fire magic to roast the lizard “she looks like she's just a year below me but she feels like she could wipe me out of this planet...” they all sit in a circle and pull pieces out of the giant lizard and eat it, but right then and there Colt realises something, he starts looking around frantically as if something is about to happen.
“ you..you guys where's my mother ?? ”
Sigdrifa looks at him and asks if he's referring to the crown, “you mean the crown, my lord?”
He shakes his head and answers “what-...yes yes the crown where is it” Kassandra grabs her staff and points it at Colt while she keeps stuffing her mouth,
“you are the crown, my lord, you fused with it haven't you noticed anything different?”
Colt feels his body and lifts the shirt to reveal the a the rubies embedded into his skin and the crown has also embedded itself into his skin forming a hexagon around the rubies.
Suddenly Eir stands up and her nails elongate themselves into long think claws “we are been watched” Sigdrifa stands up and looks around “my lord a dozen beasts are looking at us from over there” she points at the left “and there are more over there on the right”
“I forgot to tell you guys we shouldn't have cooked meat out in the open it attracts them, especially in winter”
Kassandra unconcerned by it keeps munching on the lizard “hmmm what? what's looking at us my lord”
“those are Winter sabres these things live in the mountains, but they come down during winter”, right then a large beats that's looks like a sabre comes out from behind a tree, it's coat is white with black stripes going along its whole back, it's fangs give off a white mist and it's eyes are blood red, it roars and the spikes on its tail flare up, more sabres come towards them and they all begin surrounding them reading themselves to attack, Sigdrifa and Eir stand in guard before they charge the beast, Colt has no time to react and is amazed at how these two are handling the beast, Sigdrifa charges at one of the sabres and grabs it by the head and slams it down, she puts her foot on the beast's neck and proceeds to forcefully pull the beast's head off, all the while the creature whines in pain, blood shoots out and smears across Sigdrifa's face, she lets out a battle cry and charges another one of them, Colt looks behind him and sees there's a sabre creeping up Kassandra who's too busy eating, Colt sprints towards Kassandra and positions himself between her and the sabre “master what are doing? aren't you gonna eat? the meat is so good please try some” she holds a piece to Colt but he looks at the sabre who's already charging at them, adrenaline starts gushing into Colt's heart as he feels his heart beat faster and faster, he grabs his sword from the ground and charges the creature but before he can swing it Eir swoops down on the sabre landing straight on its head crushing it into a paste, “my lord, you don't have to fight I will fight for you please sit down and enjoy the food” Colt drops his sword as he starts breathing faster and faster he takes a look back to see a pile of dead sabres stacked on top of each other, Sigdrifa looks at Colt and smiles
Her entire face and hands and upper body completely soaked in blood, “you... you... guys …how did you... kill those.. it takes almost a dozen men to hurt one of those things...”
Kassandra hops on her feet “well I'm pretty sure lord Colt, you can sense our aura, and compared to those beasts our aura is on another level these creatures are weak, to be honest,” Colt looks at three and feels the heavy aura and just how much they were holding back against these sabres, his chest clenches on itself and fear starts pressing down on Colt, as he thinks “ mom said they obey me but they are beyond me, why would they follow a weakling like me, I can't even put a scratch on a regular bear, and they mutilated more than 20 sabres”
“you… you three are so strong… why would you follow me..?”
“because the crown choose you as it's master, and whoever it chooses we shall follow”
Sigdrifa walks over to Colt and puts her hand on his shoulder reassuring him, he feels a little at ease but the lingerie fear of been backstabbed doesn't go away completely, Kassandra walks over to him and hugs Colt In a tight embrace, “I won't ever betray you, Master...”
“Hey, how is that you get to do that to my master and I don't? Move aside skank he's mine” Kassandra shows her the middle finger while she holds her face close to his chest, Eir walks over to Colt and pulls him out of her embrace and hugs him, “you want him, your gonna have to go through me you child” Kassandra scoffs and starts levitating while two balls of fire start appearing on her palms “ you wanna fight me you fucking bitch”
“come at me”
Eir jumps at Kassandra but she uses her magic to fire a jet of blue flames at Eir, she goes right through it unfazed and punches Kassandra to the ground, Colt getting more and more scared by the powers each one of them is displaying moves next to Sigdrifa, for protection, a ball of fire comes towards them and Sig casually slaps it away, making it crash against a tree setting it on fire,
“so do they always fight? Like this?”
“no… this is the first time we came out of the crown, we usually sleep in there in forms of spirits but...”
She paused for a moment and looks at Colt with a worried look,
“do I look weaker than them? I don't have any special powers, and this muscular body must be unattractive to men” Colt looks at Sigdrifa with a stunned face thinking to himself how a person this strong would be worrying about such things, not knowing how to answer that, Colt holds her hand and tells her, “It was pretty cool how you killed those animals and you did it without magic so I guess that's not weak”
Sigdrifa smiles and her face goes red.
