Blakes point of view

I breathed out heavily and looked up at the ceiling. The teacher was reading a book and not caring about what we did. We just walked in and he told us to sit down and work on something, yet I had nothing to work on. So I just sat and thought about our next move.

I could feel Lexi's worry from a mile away. I looked over to see her hands holding her face as she blankly stared at her book. I looked away, feeling a tinge of guilt and sadness for her. Soon, I drifted into my own thoughts.

That boy... Max, was it? Why was Megan hanging all over him? I mean, it's not like their dating, and her face was red... was she blushing?

I sighed loudly when a boy came running in. He was huffing, looking like he couldn't breath. The teacher looked up from his book and scowled at him. "Sam you're late. Again." He huffed the fiery gaze of daggers set on the young, panting boy.

"I... am... sorry...," He panted out in short, quick breaths. How long could he have been running if he was this tired? I shushed my thoughts when he looked at me. I looked back not breaking the gaze, daring him to leave my eyes, when all of a sudden I felt like I was being stabbed rapidly. My head started to pound with pain and my stomach growled at me, twisting and turning. I could feel my eyesight getting blurry and black dots flooded my vision. The whole process felt like I was blacking out when the teacher called sams' name and the kid looked away, my vision went back to normal and I felt better. The teacher yelled at him, him sitting down right next to me and smiled mischievously.

I looked away quickly and looked at Lexi, who was still looking blankly at her book. What just happened, I had begun to think to myself. I wanted to use my telepathy to talk to Lexi, but she looked like she didn't want to talk about anything at the moment. I could feel his stare during the whole class period, making me even more worried than before.

When the bell rang, I got up as quickly as possible and scrambled to my locker. I grabbed my backpack and walked out the front doors. I was the first person outside as I started to walk to my blue convertible when I heard my name. I spun around quickly to see Braxton, who backed up a little.

"You okay there?" I smiled in response, the smile faltering a bit.

"Yeah, you just scared me a bit."

"I... scared you?" He asked with a blank look. "Ha! That deserves a reward or something, I mean you're never scared," He smirked in delight. I laughed slightly at this comment, arms crossing a bit.

"You really think I'm that brave, don't you?" He nodded almost immediately, folding his arms.

"Yes, yes I do think you're unscareable, you would have to be dying to be scared." Suddenly, I remembered the feeling that boy gave me when he had looked at me, my skin started to crawl with goosebumps. My skin began to grow pale, the fear crawling up my spine like a spider scattering up its web.  I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"You okay Blake?" My frightened eyes met his, and at that moment I remembered something horrible.

"Do you want to sleep over at my house?" I asked hesitantly, avoiding his question completely.

"Ah, sure," He said as he nodded slowly with his infamously blank face. We sat in the car while I was trying to focus the best I could to drive home safely, having no idea what Braxton was currently thinking.  I had a bundle of thoughts, swimming through the ocean known as my mind, and it constantly felt as if I was drowning in them, it feeling like too many thoughts to handle at once.

It was a quiet drive to his house before I parked and he got out and scampered inside. I sat there until he came back with a backpack. He opened the door and jumped in with a big grin on his face.

"I've got money, let's stop by the store and grab some snacks and movies." I smiled and nodded, it being a great idea to get my mind off the thoughts.  He buckled in and I pulled out of his driveway before we started to head to the store.

As I was driving, I noticed a slick, red car starting to pull off the side of the road and drove forward.  Braxton looked back and smiled.

"Now I want a car like that," He whistled, glancing at it, making me look over.

"Why?"

"Because, I want to do a cool stunt, and crash it with a huge explosion in the background and come out looking amazing." I rolled my eyes at this, scoffing.

"Well, don't kill yourself." As we kept driving, I noticed that the car was still behind us.  I saw a dirt road in the distance and looked at Braxton, who turned to me and smiled dorkily. I smiled back at this, then whipped onto the road.

"We're gonna take a small detour. Don't worry, it'll be fun," I quickly said as he began to question me. He frowned at me in confusion as I pulled onto the dirt road. The car behind us turned too, Braxton looking back at the mysterious car.  Why is that car still behind us?  I realized  I would have to tell Braxton we were being followed. I frowned at him as he looked surprised.

"We're being followed..." I trailed off in a seemingly calm voice even if I was freaking out on the inside.

"What?!" he yelled out loudly.  "That means... she really is the one?" He mumbled, glancing at me, a frightened look deep within his eyes.  "Yeah.  But enough of that.  It's time we show our little friend here not to mess with us." He smiled a little at this statement, showing excitement replacing the fear within his brown eyes. I stepped on the gas and the car launched forward, Braxton smiled maniacally and his brown eyes started to glow. I could feel my eyes start to heat up, and I knew I had changed.

Braxton looked back a bit. "Are they still trailing on us?" I asked excitedly. He nodded and looked at me his eyes glowing brightly.  I smirked at him as he smiled back cheekily, ready. I made a sharp turn toward the car and stopped suddenly stomped on the brakes, holding them down as the car still slid forward fast.

Braxton opened the door while the car was still sliding  and jumped out, tumbling out into a roll landing on his feet. He raised his hand up fast and a rather large rock came out of the ground and elevated in the air. He was now wearing a black leather jumpsuit, with black biker gloves and black army boots.

I smirked at this, knowing I had changed too and looked alike him too.  Though, personally I liked my appearance better. I snickered to myself when Braxton snapped me back to reality, him throwing the large rock toward the car. the car dodged it, continuing to advance towards us quickly.

Braxton smiled mischievously and moved his hands up to the air again, but this time instead of rocks, he was creating a strong wind current that pushed against the car slowing it down. He suddenly stopped, picking up another large rock and threw it towards the speeding car. The car didn't have time to dodge it, and the rock smacked the engine area, making it flip over onto its roof and spinning out of control.

I opened the door and jumped out, catching up to Braxton; who was already running toward the car. I felt my eyes heat up as I lifted up my hands and moved them to the right, causing the door of the car rip off and be thrown. We both looked down to see who had been following us when I felt my face go pale and goose bumps eat away my skin. My heart immediately dropped, and I knew that we were screwed for the mistake we had just made.
