CHAPTER 40

JORDYN POV:

I have to do something before he tells Aqua the truth. But then i also could sabotage him and make him look like a fool in front of the whole world and his so called wife. I mean, if my plan works then we could be set. I could  help pay off my parents debt, pay off our home, cars and unpaid taxes. We could sell the house and move to a better neighborhood.

"Jordyn" my mom said interrupting me out of my thoughts.

"Yes mom?"

"How far are you with convincing that rich boy that the bastard in your stomach is his?"

"Uhhhm. Well i went by the office yesterday and nothing worked.  So i think we should come up with a plan to sabotage him and make him admit that this baby is his." I said telling her my plan.

"WHAT!? NO! do you know how long that is going to take? We need something quick like a DNA test."

"But the DNA is going to prove that this baby isn't his." I said. I'm really confused with what she's trying to get by.

"Not if we work up some old school mdeical corruption." She said smirking.

Okay. I'm really confused but her plan sounds safer and more quick than my first plan.

"Okay. Tell me what to do then." I said agreeing with her.

"Okay. So tomorrow you are going back to his office and try to convince him to do some DNA tests. To make it more convincing, make him go to the hospital with you so blood work can be done. Once you two do the blood work and it is sent to the lab, i will take it from there." She said.

"What are you gonna do mom?" I asked.

"Just pay up."

"Mom we don't have money to waste here.  We're living dollar to dollar."

"Hush child! This will be worth it. I promise."

"Okay."

She got up and left. I was left alone with my thoughts. I mean, this could very well work and we could go back to our old lifestyle. I could take shopping sprees again and just live life. On the other hand this plan could backfire and make situations worse for us.

I really hope this works. It could make or break my life.

AQUA'S POV:

The meeting with Chanel for the new collection went well. Quinton went back to the office because he has a last minute meeting that he didn't know about. So i went to my store to check on business.

I got out the car and walked in the store and find it going very well. Celest really is doing a great job with this store. There wasn't much for me to do so i went back home. The twins stayed with Quinton's mom today at her house so i have the rest of the day and the house to myself.

I got out of my corporate clothing and put on some shorts,one of Quinton's shirts and long socks. I sat on the couch and binge watched "The crown" from the first season to the latest.

QUINTON'S POV:

"I cannot wait for us to get started on this new business venture." I said as i shook hands  with Mr Abdullah our new business investor from Dubai.

"Pleasure is all mine." He took his briefcase and walked out of the boardroom.

I took my paper work and walked back to my office.

"Ma'am i can't let you in without Mr Jack's being present. If you we're his wifei would have."

"Just let me in. I'll sit in his office until his meeting is done and he will find me there."

I looked up and saw Jordyn arguing with my secretary, trying to get into my office. I sighed and walked towards them. Idk what the hell she's doing here cause she's not getting a cent from me.

"Mr Jacks. This woman has been trying to get into your office but i told her to wait for you." She explained to me.

"It's okay. Please  send me those finances for the week, after that you can go hime for the day."

"Okay sir." She said walking off.

"What do you want?" I asked Jordyn

"To talk." She said.

I opened the door and lead her into my office. I closed the door and sat down.

"Get to the point of your visit."

"Well. Since you don't belive that this baby is yours. I'm willing to take blood DNA tests." She said.

"Well. If that means I'll get you off my back, then so be it. But I'm picking the hospital."

"Cool." She said getting up and leaving.
