Once again it's Valentine's day. A day of the year dedicated to those who claim they are "lucky" enough to be in a relationship. And a day which the rest of us dread to have to live through.
And geuss what?
You're one of those who gets to walk empty-handed today.
Congrats!
As your walking downtown, you see there are couples holding hands, flowers and chocolates, and giant teddy bears, which always end up in a closet, being passed back and forth.
Really though. Why spend so much on a stuffed animal?
You never quite understood the point of these gifts and would always have a look of disgust as you walk by. Like the one you give to your parents whenever they kiss.
"What is the point of a holiday that celebrates couples when they have one another every day of the year?" You thought walking down the street.
Maybe one day you'll understand but for now you walk down the street...
empty-handed.
