Chapter 2

~Baekhyun's P.O.V.~

      Her eyes widen and she reaches her arms out, pulling me into a hug. I hug her back, feeling her dig her head in my shoulder. "I can't believe your here!" She said, her words muffled. I smiled. "I cant believe I am either. How are you?"  She hesitates for a moment. "Uh...ok."

      Something's not right. I pull out of the hug, holding her out in front of me by the shoulders. My eyes widen and I gasp as I look down at her face: her lip is split, and there's a big black and blue bruise running along her jawline. "Oh my god, Ash," I gasp, raising a hand, "What happened to you?"

      I run a finger along her lip and she winces, taking my hand away and holding it in both of hers. "It's nothing, I'm fine," She said, "I was just being to--" she stops herself, but it's too late. My expression hardens and my hand tightens around hers. "He did it, didn't he?"

      "Baekhyun, you don't need to worry about my problems," Ash starts, but I cut her off. "Really? Your lip is busted and your jaw is bruised, all from some feud? I think I should start worrying!" "Look, it's not even a feud, ok? It's something else, but you don't need to worry about it, I've got it handled!"

      "But Ash, your parents made me promise--" "Yeah yeah, you must protect me with your life blah blah blah I know, but seriously, Baekkie, I can take care of myself, ok?" My face goes red as she uses my old nickname. "Ok," I reply, loosing my grip on her hands, "But I'm still gonna watch over you."

~Ash's P.O.V.~

     "Speaking of which," I said, raising my eyebrow, "Why are you at our house, without a shirt or anything on? Do you want to give my friends a hormone attack?" He gave me a confused look. "What?"

      I rolled my eyes. Is he still as stupid as he used to be? "Your a boy, number 1. Number 2, your a werewolf, (A/N Baekhyun told Ash his secret) so that gives you an amazing body, and your standing here only in shorts. Number 3, your alone, so there's no distractions." He looks down at himself. "Oh, sorry. But I'm not alone."

     My eyes widen and I whip my head around, looking for the others in his pack. I spot two pairs of eyes in the woods and turn back to Baekhyun. "Byun Baekhyun, are you and your friends stalking me?" His eyes widen and he quickly waves his hands in front of him. "No no no, we're not stalking you! It's.....complicated."

     "Complicated? How is it complicated? Your at my hou--" "Ash!" Aaliyah yelps from inside, cutting me off. I turn around and look through the door to see my little sister, Mo, half transformed. Aaliyah and one of the others are holding her down, keeping her from running straight at....Baekhyun!

      I quickly turn back to Baekhyun now, who's trying to look through the door. I block his view and say quickly, "Baekkie, you need to leave, now." He gives me a confused look. "Why, are they ok?" "Yeah, they're fine," I lie, "But you need to go, ok! I'll meet you again after school tommorow!" "Where?" "Don't worry, I'll find you, now go!"

     Thankfully, he noticed my tone of voice and transformed, running off. As soon as I saw him disappear into the woods I ran back inside, kneeling down in front of Mo. "Woah, Morgan, what's going on?" I yelled, "Change back, now!"

      Ok, let me get a few things straight: Me and the 11 girls I live with are a very rare species of human: Color Warriors. Yeah, I know what your thinking: Why are you rare if there's 12 of you in the same spot? He Color Warriors? That sounds dumb! Yeah, well it does sound dumb, but that's what we are. And, the twelve of us are only together because we were forced to meet up, we actually all live in different places around the world.

     Now, let me explain what Color Warriors are: There are 12 of us, and each of us represent a color: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Pink, Brown, Black, White, Gray, and Multicolor. We each are able to transform into an animal, of that specific color, and our "True Forms" are a meld of the two. We also each have a few special powers to go along with our animal. (A/N After I update this chapter I'll add the rest of the girls and their full powers to the character list, ok?) But anyway, back to now.

     Mo took a deep breath and closed her eyes. Slowly, she changed back from her True Form (Part Snowy Owl) to her human self, and Aaliyah and Akili let go of her. "Now Mo seriously, what set you off? Why were you about to attack Baekhyun?"

      "Baekhyun?" She asked dreamily, "That's his name? It fits him." My eyes widen in confusion. Did she just call my best friend dreamy? "Ash," Akili said, making me look at her, "I think that boy was her mate." I gasp. "Baekhyun? Mo? Mates? WHAT????"  I held my head in my hands, closing my eyes. My sister and best friend are mates?

      "You know," Dakota said, making everyone look at her, "They could actually be cute together." They could? Huh, now that I think about it....

        "Ok Mo, here's the deal," I say, pointing a finger at her, "If you reject him or break his heart, I'll make sure to personally snap your wings, got it?" She swallows hard and nods, her eyes frightened.

        I smile widely, pulling her into a bear hug. "Guys, my little sis has a MATE!!!!!" Immedietly, all 11 of us scream and tackle Mo, laughing and giggling. Maybe Mo being Baekkie's mate won't be so bad after all. I can't wait to introduce them tommorow!
