As the lunch break began, Jeongyeon bought her meal and thought of Sana. She was puzzled. "Why didn't she come? We decided to eat together," she wondered. Jeongyeon waited for several minutes, but Sana didn't show up. With the lunch break nearing its end, she reluctantly started eating alone.
After the school day ended, Jeongyeon texted Sana, "I'm waiting for you in the parking lot." She leaned against her car, scanning the area for any sign of Sana. Minutes passed, but Sana was nowhere to be seen. Growing more concerned, Jeongyeon dialed Sana's number, but there was no response. "Did something happen?" she mumbled to herself.
"Sana, I haven't seen you all day. Are you okay? Please answer; I'm getting worried," she texted again, her anxiety mounting. Realizing that Sana wasn't coming, Jeongyeon got into her car and drove off, her mind racing with worry. She tried calling Sana once more, but still no answer.
Desperate for answers, she decided to call Sana's best friend, Tzuyu. After a few rings, Tzuyu picked up. "Hey Jeongyeon, what's up?" she greeted.
"Hey, Tzuyu. I can't reach Sana, and I'm really worried. She hasn't answered my texts or calls all day. Do you know what's going on?" Jeongyeon asked, her voice tinged with urgency.
"Oh, you don't need to worry," Tzuyu replied, trying to sound reassuring. "Sana was feeling really tired, so the teacher sent her home. I just spoke with her mother, and she said Sana turned off her phone and went to sleep."
Jeongyeon felt a wave of relief but still had lingering concerns. "What happened? Is she okay now?" she asked, turning her car around.
"Yes, she's fine. She just needs to rest. Just wait for her to text you back," Tzuyu said gently.
"Okay, Tzuyu. Thank you," Jeongyeon sighed, feeling a bit more at ease. She hung up, hoping that Sana would reach out soon.
Meanwhile, at Sana's home, the atmosphere was tense. Her parents had another fight because her father had returned home unexpectedly, demanding custody of the children.
Sana and her brother Mark disagreed, leading to a heated argument until their father stormed out. The stress and pressure were too much for Sana. She took a deep sigh, her eyes closing as she fainted from the overwhelming situation.
"Mom! Sana!" Mark called out as he rushed to his sister's side, trying to wake her up. He carefully carried her to her bed, laying her down gently.
Hours passed, and Sana remained asleep. When she finally woke up, she groaned and rubbed her head, feeling the weight of the day's events. She sat up, burying her face in her hands and taking a deep sigh. After a moment, she fixed her hair and grabbed her phone. Turning it on, she saw all the missed calls and messages from Jeongyeon.
"Oh no, I totally forgot. We were supposed to hang out today," she muttered, pressing on Jeongyeon's name to text her back. She frowned, realizing she should have informed Jeongyeon earlier to reschedule or at least sent a message to avoid worrying her.

bye"Jeongyeon, why are you smiling like that?" Seulgi asked with a giggle, noticing her friend's unusual expression.
"What?" Jeongyeon turned to look at her, slightly confused.
"Were you texting Sana?" Seulgi asked again, a knowing smile on her face.
Jeongyeon nodded, her smile widening. "Yeah, I was."
"Jeongyeon, take care of her, and don't hurt her." Seulgi's voice trailed off, her tone suddenly serious.
"Why would I ever hurt her, Seulgi? Don't worry," Jeongyeon reassured her, smiling lightly.
"She needs you the most," Seulgi mumbled, almost to herself.
Jeongyeon frowned, sensing something was off. "Why are you so serious? Did something happen to Sana that I don't know about?"
"N-no, nothing," Seulgi stammered, trying to sound casual. "I'm just telling you to take care of my best friend."
Jeongyeon scoffed lightly and nodded. "Of course, I will."
