Dahyun sighed heavily as she got ready for the party Momo was hosting at her house. Momo had invited all their friends from school, and they were allowed to bring their friends as well. "Am I overthinking?" Dahyun wondered, trying to shake off the uneasy feeling.

She tried to remember if what she saw was just a coincidence. "But I saw her," she mumbled, recalling the girl glaring at Momo and Mark from afar. "And his expression was weird." She sighed heavily, doubting him in an instant. She thought he might be cheating on Momo. She shook off the thoughts again, sighing deeply. "Maybe I'm thinking like this because I'm in love with Momo," she admitted to herself.

"I gotta stop thinking about this," she told herself firmly as she walked out of her bedroom. "If I keep thinking of her all the time, it will be impossible to get over her." She grabbed her car keys and headed out despite her swirling thoughts.

Jeongyeon was walking through the bustling house, helping Chaeyoung put drinks on the table when she heard the bell ring. "I think it's Dahyun and the others," Chaeyoung said, glancing up. Jeongyeon nodded and walked to open the door, revealing Mark standing there.

"Hey Mark," she greeted him with a smile.

"Hi, how are you?" he asked, returning the smile.

"I'm good. Momo is in the kitchen," Jeongyeon replied, stepping aside to let him in.

He nodded. "Are you going to pick up Sana?" he asked casually.

"Yes," she replied. He then walked into the kitchen, and Jeongyeon's smile disappeared. She never really liked Mark, but because he was Momo's boyfriend, she had to tolerate him at least a little bit.

Jeongyeon sighed heavily as she tried to shake off her thoughts. She helped Chaeyoung put the last of the drinks on the table when the bell rang again. "I think it's Dahyun and the others," Chaeyoung said. Jeongyeon nodded and walked to open the door, revealing Dahyun, Jihyo, and Tzuyu standing there with bright smiles.

"Hey guys!" Jeongyeon greeted them warmly.

"Hey Jeongyeon!" Dahyun replied, stepping inside. "We brought the snacks."

"Great, just in time," Jeongyeon said.

Jeongyeon helped her friends set up everything for the party, but soon it was time to go and pick up Sana. She drove to Sana's house. As she knocked on the door, she took a deep breath. The door opened, revealing Sana standing there in a stunning black dress that accentuated her beauty.

"Hey," Sana greeted, her smile making Jeongyeon's heart race.

"You look gorgeous," Jeongyeon said, her voice filled with admiration as she took in Sana's appearance. She was mesmerized by how beautiful Sana looked in the black dress.

Sana smiled shyly, her cheeks turning a light shade of pink. "Thank you."

"Shall we go?" Jeongyeon asked, extending her hand.

Sana took her hand, and Jeongyeon gently kissed the back of it, making Sana's heart flutter at the sweet gesture. They walked to the car hand in hand, and Jeongyeon opened the door for her, meeting Sana's gaze up close. Her heart pounded in her chest.

"Thank you," Sana said as she entered the car.

Jeongyeon closed the door and walked to her seat. She started the engine and drove off.

As Jeongyeon drove, the car was filled with a comfortable silence. Suddenly, Sana reached over and grabbed Jeongyeon's hand, intertwining their fingers and placing their joined hands on her thigh. Jeongyeon's heart skipped a beat at the intimate gesture.

"Is everything okay?" Jeongyeon asked softly, glancing at Sana with a concerned look.

Sana smiled warmly. "Yes, everything's fine. I just wanted to be close to you."

"I'm glad you're here with me," she said, squeezing Sana's hand gently.

Sana looked out the window for a moment before turning back to Jeongyeon. "I've been thinking a lot lately," she began, her voice soft. "About us."

Jeongyeon's grip on the steering wheel tightened slightly. "What about us?" she asked, trying to keep her voice steady.

Sana took a deep breath. "I really enjoy spending time with you, Jeongyeon. You make me feel special."

Jeongyeon's heart swelled with emotion. "You are special, Sana. More than you know."

Sana's eyes sparkled as she looked at Jeongyeon. "Do you think..do you think we could be more than just friends?"

Jeongyeon felt a rush of emotions. "I've been hoping for that," she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. "I care about you a lot, Sana."

Sana's smile widened, and she leaned closer, resting her head on Jeongyeon's shoulder. "I care about you too, Jeongyeon. Let's see where this takes us."

Jeongyeon smiled, feeling a sense of happiness and anticipation. "I'd like that," she said, her voice filled with sincerity.

As they continued driving, the silence between them was filled with unspoken emotions. Sana gently squeezed Jeongyeon's hand, drawing her attention.

"Jeongyeon, can I ask you something?" Sana's voice was soft, almost hesitant.

"Of course," Jeongyeon replied, glancing at her briefly before focusing back on the road.

"What made you like me?" Sana asked, her eyes searching Jeongyeon's face. "I mean, before we started getting along, we were always bickering."

Jeongyeon smiled, squeezing Sana's hand gently. "The first time I saw you, I thought you looked gorgeous," she confessed. "But then we started bickering, and I thought you had a very different personality from the Sana I know now."

Sana looked at her curiously. "What changed?"

Jeongyeon took a deep breath, gathering her thoughts. "There was something that surprised me. Whenever you were absent, I would always look for you and wonder about you. I didn't understand why at first."

Sana's eyes widened slightly. "Really?"

Jeongyeon nodded. "Yes. And then there was that day when you and I joined Mark and Momo and talked a bit made me see you in a different light. I realized there was so much more to you than I had initially thought."

Sana listened intently, her heart fluttering at Jeongyeon's words.

"As days passed, I started seeing the real you," Jeongyeon continued. "The kind, thoughtful, and amazing person you are. And the more I saw, the more I liked you."

Sana's eyes sparkled with emotion. "I had no idea you felt that way," she said softly.

Jeongyeon smiled, her heart full. "I'm glad we gave each other a chance."

Sana leaned closer, resting her head on Jeongyeon's shoulder again. "Me too, Jeongyeon. Me too."

Jeongyeon felt a warmth spread through her chest. "You know, I used to think our bickering was just us not getting along. But now I realize it was because I was trying to hide my feelings. I didn't know how to handle liking you so much."

Sana chuckled softly. "I guess I was the same. I didn't want to admit that I enjoyed our arguments because it meant I got to spend time with you."

Jeongyeon turned to look at her, their eyes meeting. "I'm really glad we moved past that. I love the way we are now."

Sana smiled, her eyes filled with affection. "Me too," she leaned in to kiss Jeongyeon's cheek.
