She was singing softly while doing the dishes. Something she'd never do, let's say, 5 years ago. She put a plate away as she heard footsteps running towards her. "Hide me!" The one said and she ducked underneath the table. The mother chuckled softly just before her husband would enter the kitchen. Of course he spotted his daughter immediately, but he stayed in his role. "Emma ~ ! Where aaare you?" "GOTCHA!" the little Emma screamed in delight and she captured her father's foot. The couple laughed. Life was perfect.
