It felt like a relief that Yuri had accepted to make a cake with Yena, it was around noon and the two girls were walking around a store, looking for the last ingredient, once they got it, they paid and left, now they were at Yena’s dorm.

“Yuri, look at me” Yena said and Yuri looked at her, Yena finished making the frosting before dipping her finger in some of the frosting and staining Yuri’s nose with frosting.

“Choi Yena!” Yuri exclaimed to Yena who was now laughing, Yuri glared at her, Yena stopped as she felt her cheek getting stained from frost by Yuri.

“You asked for it” Yuri smirked as she continued, Yena couldn't help but stare shyly.

“What?” Yuri avoids Yena’s gaze on her.

“Nothing, you look pretty” Yena has a small grin on her face, Yuri ignores her and starts to pour the batter in the cupcake tray, Yena doesn't say anything either and does her own thing, secretly Yuri feels a flower bloom in her heart.

The two were sitting on the couch as they waited, it was silent

“Why do you like my friend?” it hurted Yena to ask that but she wanted to know.

“Hyewon..?” Yuri asked, Yena hummed a response “She’s nice and pretty, who wouldn’t fall for her”

“I’ll get the cupcakes” Yena stands up after she hears the alarm go off in the oven.

“Why did you ask that?” Yuri asked, Yena doesn't answer and takes out the cupcakes carefully, Yuri sighs and walks over to Yena who was preparing the cupcake ornaments.

The two stayed in their seats making cupcakes for an hour, once they were done making them, Yena laid back in her seat.

“Yena, I made you a cupcake” Yuri says, Yena turns her attention to Yuri who was handing her a cupcake with yellow frosting and flowers, Yena couldn't help but smile as she felt her heart flutter.

“Thank you” Yena thanks her as she takes the cupcake and Yuri separates another cupcake.

“And can you give this one to Hyewon?” Yuri said, Yena looked at her again and her eyes traveled to the cupcake. It had a heart on the cupcake.

“Y-Yeah, I-I will” Yena stuttered the smile she had turned upside down but she forced to give her a small smile, Yena felt like tears were threatening to come but she managed to keep them in.

Time passed, Yena had already dropped off Yuri, now she was sitting alone in her living room, she stared at the cupcake she was supposed to give Hyewon but one part if she didn’t want to, the jealousy she had didn't help.

“Yena! You didn’t tell you would be at your dorm” she hears someone say, Yena quickly throws the cupcake away quickly before looking at Yujin.

“Hey why did you throw that away?” Yujin asked with a shocked expression, Yena smiled and hugged her best friend not even answering the question.

Jungeun sits next to Jisung as she starts to hand him a pile of worksheets.

“Start working on this” Jungeun ordered and Jisung nodded as he started to work, Jungeun sighs, she felt bad for lying but she had to.

Jungeun helped Jisung when he asked for help, it was almost

“Hey what’s up?”

“Where are you? I’m at the cafe” Jinsoul says from the other side of the phone, making Jungeun widen her eyes as she looks at the window where Jinsoul was approaching them.

“Shit!” Jungeun explains and packs Jisung’s things quickly.

“Why are you cursing at me-” before Jisung asked, Jungeun made him stand up.

“Leave quickly!” Jungeun exclaimed, Jisung had visible confusion but followed her order and grabbed his things and left from the other exit.

Jinsoul enters the cafe and Jungeun stands up to greet her with an awkward smile, Jinsoul notices the two cups and her face turns to a straight face once again.

“You drank two cups?”

“One of them are my students” Jungeun explained.

“Where is your student?”

“Left long ago, I just stayed here to do extra work” she smiles awkwardly trying not to reveal anything, Jungeun explained, Jinsoul nods and looks at the waiter with a glare making the waiter walk away back behind the counter.

--time skip--

Hyejoo enters her parents house where she sees her mom, dad and Mina watching some TV.

“Oh Hyejoo your home” her dad had married a foreigner from america, most of the time Hyejoo would speak english with Mina and her parents.

“Hello mom.. hey Mina” Hyejoo greeted as she slowly sat down next to Mina.

“Your dad is outside if you need him” her mom commented and Hyejoo nodded slowly.

“I’m fine right now, where’s Chaeyoung?” Hyejoo switched back to korean, Mina sits back up as she faces Hyejoo.

“She left with Dahyun and Tzuyu” Mina answered, Hyejoo slowly closed her eyes as she laid her back on the couch.

“Anyways, how’s your relationship with Gowon? '' Mina asked, Hyejoo tried to ignore her but couldn't since Mina was giving her little kicks for her to answer her question.

“We’re fine” Hyejoo simply replied, she was lying since that day. She couldn't stop thinking about Gowon, they always met after school to talk but it was awkward, they wouldn't speak and just watch the clouds.

“Wake up” Hyejoo slowly opens her eyes, she hadn't realized she had fallen asleep after she replied to Mina.

“What..?” Hyejoo mumbled, Mina sighs as she looks down at Hyejoo.

“Dinner is ready” Mina says as she starts to walk back to the dining room, Hyejoo groans and sits up.

Earlier

“How long will I have to be your girlfriend?” Hyejoo asked as she rolled on the grass so she could face Gowon.

“Fake girlfriend” Gowon corrected, Hyejoo nodded quickly.

“Yeah that, how long?” Hyejoo repeated, Gowon sighs and shrugs.

“I don’t know, but now I can’t even look at you,” Gowon replied, Hyejoo couldn't help but chuckle.

“Am I too hot?” Hyejoo teasingly said, earning a scoff from Gowon.

“Shut up and continue to look at the sky” Gowon scoffed, Hyejoo lays back and looks at the clouds passing.

Gowon slowly scoots herself to Hyejoo before resting her head onto Hyejoo’s shoulder while her hand reaches for Hyejoo’s hand and holding it as the two look at each other making eye contact before breaking the eye contact quickly and continuing to look at the sky.

Hyejoo stands up and walks over to the dining room where her dad and mom were talking as Mina texted Chaeyoung, Hyejoo sits next to Mina as she starts to eat

“I fixed your watch” Hyejoo’s attention turns to her mom handing a box to Hyejoo’s dad.

“Thank you! I love it” Hyejoo's dad hugged his wife as he gave her kisses on the crown, Hyejoo takes a glance at Mina who was giving them a cold stare.

“Unnie, is something wrong?” Hyejoo whispered, Mina nodded quickly and gave Hyejoo an assuring grin.

“I need to go” Mina doesn't answer Hyejoo and just leaves the house, Hyejoo looks at her in confusion, she starts to wonder if Mina is hiding something from her.
