Saturday 12:36 pm:
"Mom I'm getting tired of staying in bed, I want to walk around." I whined.
"I don't want to hear it young lady, you have to stay in bed so you can get better." My mom said. I pouted and sighed.
"But mom I am feeling better." I said, being the stubborn person I am.
"Can you walk without any pain?" She asked.
"How can I know if you won't let me try to walk?" I asked. It's true, I won't know if I can walk if I'm not even allowed out of the bed. I think I get my stubbornness from my mother. "Can I at least try to walk around? You can stay near me just in case." I said.
"Fine but if you fall, you stay in the bed." She said.
"That's all I ask for." I said, throwing the blanket off of my body. I put my legs off the bed and stood up slowly. First, I just stood there before moving. I started to take slow steps with my mom holding her hands out just in case I start to fall. "Wait mom, didn't the hospital give me a cane to use?" I asked.
"Oh yeah, it's right there." She said, pointing to it.
"Can you give it to me please?" I asked, politely. She nodded her head and grabbed it then handed it to me. I used it to walk and I felt a little pain but that's fine, it'll go away and I definitely won't tell my mom or else I'll have to go back in bed.
"Do you feel any pain sweetie?" She asked.
"No I don't." I replied.
"Okay, you can walk around but at sometimes you have to stay in bed alright?" She said.
"Okay mom." I responded. She walked out with me following behind but far behind since I can't walk that fast. I made it to the stairs and to be honest, I am scared to go down the stairs but I can't let anyone know that. I went down one step at a time and I made it downstairs. I did a little cheer then began walking to the living room and saw my dad watching TV. I walked over and sat down next to him. He turned his head to look at me.
"Hey pumpkin, how are you feeling?" He asked.
"I've been better but at least I can walk by myself, well as long as I'm using the cane." I answered. "So what are you watching?" I asked.
"Some show called D-Day (A/N: The medical K-Drama.)." He said, looking at the TV.
"I wanted to see it since I heard that it's pretty good." I said, watching TV with my dad. I heard my phone 'ding' and luckily I had my phone on me so I wouldn't have to go back upstairs just to grab it. I pulled it out and saw a message from Yoongi.
