I walk into the underground club to see cups, bottles, flipped tables and what I hope is spilled beer all over the floor. I look over to the couch to see Denki and Sero past out on the couch next to the stage with there instruments still set up. "Wake up you shitty extras!!!" They jumped in fear. Seeing them so terrified made me really happy.. "Oh, hey Bakubro. What's up?" "And what time is it?" "It's 9:45 am and Nothing really, just came by to pick up the notebook, so, where is it?" "He didn't leave it." "What do you mean?... He didn't come?" "No she did. That dude's wild, man." "He busted some exquisite moves in his bizarro red sneakers." "Really?" "Yeah, and then poof! Disappeared. Magic." "If he came here, then he must've left it somewhere." I run around the place trying to find the notebook, I move chairs, tables, beanbags and all kinds of furniture around trying to see if it's around, I look under the stage, and accidently put my hand in something sticking. "WTF IS THIS?!?!" I go over to the bathroom to wash my hands. As I look up at the mirror to see my message I left for Izuku and notice that there was green writing underneath it. It said, 'but I'm scared'. I knew it was Izuku because I can recongise he's handwriting from a mile away. I walk out of the bathroom feeling dead inside, like my heart just stopped. I look over to see Denki and Sero trying to move from the couch, drunk as hell. "Find the book?" "No... This was such a mistake." "What? He was having fun." "No, he was scared 'cause I pushed him to far, a-and now I don't even have the notebook, so I can't even, like, apologize to him, or explain." "He was the king!" "He was." I storm out leaving the drunk boys. I get out to the sidewalk feeling angry at myself for what I've done and feeling guilty about what I put him through. I look over to the streets to see a puddle with a red sneaker sitting in the icy water. "Hey, it's your dude's shoe." I look behind to see Sero and Denki. "Why would he just leaves his shoe?" "Maybe he wanted you to find it, like a clue." I look down at the shoe trying o find something that might lead me to a clue. I look inside to see a flap with the letters TDF. "'TDF.' What's TDF?"

...

"Tilly Don Feinstein." I'm back home with Kirishima trying to figure out with the hell TDF is. "She works at the information desk, and she has long green hair. Right now I'm the phone to the staff at the Strand trying to find that girl who works there. "I don't know. She's surly, and she's condescending. (People talking) Well, if that's the case, then I think you need to hire some different people. Hello? Hello! ...GOD!" "Okay, okay. I've been making a list, right? Taylor DeFranco." "No." "No, okay. Um, Tamatha Denise Feeny. "Oh my god." I chug down my cup of coffee trying to stay sane. "Okay, Tia Destiny Falkner." "These... Are not really people." "Um, Tour de France." "Stop. Are you sure that he did not leave it at USJ?" "I checked the video slot. ...it wasn't anywhere. All right?" "..." "Ooh, give me your phone." Before I could answer, he snatches the phone off of the table right in front of me. "What are you doing?" "I'm downloading the mommy app." "Not that app you're obsessed with. Stop." "I'm not obsessed with it. I mean, it's completely unmanly. Anyway, they'll find this guy. These women, they're like detectives. They know everything. I'll upload a photo and set you up for notifications. You're welcome." "Well, no, 'cause using the Internet, that's against the rules of the game." "Dude, if he didn't leave the notebook, maybe... maybe he quit." "No, no, no,  no, no. NO!" "I mean, no that I... I would know what he would do or what he's like. Because you know, I never met here, obviously..." "Ah, what the hell. Um, but I'm just gonna look up TDF. ...Okay, we got, 'Theater Development Fund'. One of the oldest shoe stores in New York. And there in Queens." "Okay, Operation Cinderella is on."

...

"According to our records, that these are the very first red sneaker's ever made in this design." Kirishima and I are at the shoe store right now. We are talking to a women who seems very bossy and uptight. "How is that helpful exactly?-" "Then everyone wanted to get there hands on these shoes so they wen't everywhere. Until we found them and loaned them to the LaGuardia High School for the Performing arts but never returned." "Okay, well that's more helpful." She pulls out a little folded piece of paper. "Well, it says here that someone did send some cash to pay for the missing shoes. A one, um, Chiyo Shuzenji." "Who?" "Well, that last name is obviously fake, but the cash was real." "Uh, is there a return address on there?" "Hold on!" The lady hits my hand away, making kiri hide behind me. What a scaredy cat. "I thought you two wanted to return the boot to the rightful owner." "Well, yeah but-" "Well, we're the original owner. "Wait, whoa." "Maybe, Izuku's relative paid for it. It's his." "Well, I'll see that he get's it." "No. I have to return it." "Well I have to clean out over one hundered pairs of shoes from the Sydney Opera House in Australia. Good day, sir." "Wait! This isn't just about a boot." "It's not?" "No, I... I... Look, you... you don't know me, but I'm like the Phantom." "His name is Eric." "Right, no, Eric. And just like Eric, I... I too wear a mask." "..." "No literally, but I... I don't let people get to know me. But, um, this girl, a girl I've never met in person but only through her words on a page... She gets me. "Hmm." "And last night, she was supposed to lave a message for me at a club, but all she left  was this boot."  "Like Cinderella." "Yeah. I can't lose her now. I'm not a crazy person. I promise... I'm just a teenage boy with a boot that's asking you to help him find... his Cinderella." "...Well... I am not one to stand in the way of true love." "Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you so much!" As she leaves I look over at the address and Kirishima. "So, uh, did you really mean all that... all that stuff about love?" "Eh? Oh, no, no, no. I was just saying all that fucking crap she that she'd give me the address." As we walk down to the entrance. I couldn't get my eyes off of the address. "So, bakubro. What now?" "...We're going here!" "We're going to the address. Lets go!" Lets go find Izuku!!"
