Present Mic: "Hey! Pay attention, audience! Swarm, mass media! This year's high school rodeo of adolescence you all love, the U.A Sports Festival is about to begin! Are you ready?! It's time for the students to enter the first-year stage! Hero course, class 1-A!"
You and your class walked out into the field as the audience cheered loudly, making you cover your ears and growl. You saw Izuku looking around nervously as you chuckled.
Izuku: "Th-th-there are so many people..."
Iida: "Will we be able to be able to give our best performance being watching by so many people? This is also part of the training required to become a hero."
Y/N: "Man you guys worry too much. Loosen up a little."
You said as you wrapped your arms around both of their shoulders.
Kirishima: "Man, he's going overboard with that praise! I'm getting nervous! Aren't you, Bakugou?"
Bakugou: "No, I'm just getting more into it."
Present Mic: "They haven't been getting as much airtime, but this class is also full of talent! Hero course, class 1-B! Next up, general studies classes C, D, and E! Support course, class F, G and H are here too! And business course, classes I, J, and K! All of U.A's first years are here now!"
Y/N: "God, that guy's so fucking loud."
Toxin: "You said it."
Suddenly a whip cracked and got everyone's attention. Everybody looked over to see a woman in a... strange costume.

Midnight: "Time for the player pledge!"

You said as Bakugou walked up to the microphone in front of everyone. There was an awkward moment of silence before Bakugou spoke up.
Bakugou: "I pledge... that I'll be number one."
Class A: "I knew he'd do that!"
And then everybody except class A started booing. You covered your ears and growled as people shouted at Bakugou's words.
