Chasing Pavements by Adele
3:00 am, my thoughts keeps me awake all the time. I grabbed my phone to scroll down my social medias and watched videos thinking It could make me fall asleep. Still awake, and feeling nothing. I decided to call Haechan, I am sure he's playing games this time.
"Hmm?.." A deep voice from the call answered, I realized he was actually asleep when I called.
"Oh, my bad! You can go back to sleep.. I can call you later." I apologized and about to hang up but he answered me with his morning voice.
"What are you doing this late?" He asked.
"I can't sleep, I decided to call you. I thought you were playing.." I said and played with the fabric of my pillow.
I could hear that he stood up and did something. I heard the a crick of his gaming chair and heard him turned on his game.
"You're playing this early?" I asked.
"I don't have anything to do while talking with you." He said while putting his phone down and put me on speaker. "Facetime me while you're falling asleep."
I facetimed him and saw him wearing his oversized white shirt and looking straight at his phone.
"How's your mom, did you go out with her?" I asked and while tucking into my blanket.
He looked at me time to time while he's playing. "I ate with her and my younger siblings, but my father did not go." He said and continued playing.
"My mom wants to meet you but I told her I'm busy these days." He informed me and got his phone and lay down on his bed, probably done playing. "Are you ready to meet her though?" He asked and hugged his small pillow.
I just smiled and laughed, My eyes were closing little by little but he spoke still looking at me.
"Do you like me?" He asked me while hiding his smile behind the pillow he was hugging.
I was so sleepy, so I just smiled and nodded. He dimmed his lights and started singing his favorite songs which became my favorite too. His voice faded while I fell in a deep sleep.
8:55 am, I woke up to go to school. I was running really late, our classes will start by 9:00 am, This day is not for me. I run quickly going to my first class and thankfully, I wasn't late.
I checked my phone and saw flood messages from Haechan.
